Learning new skill - Renew my backyard to plant fruits and vegetables

in Steem Skillshare2 years ago

Yesterday finally I decided to do something to renew my backyard, that after few months of nonattendance reached an unacceptable level of ugliness in my opinion.

I'm sure that anyone that see this photo can not say that it is a nice backyard!

It that area we had just a few plants and bushes, that originally were not bad, but over the time turned out to be quite ugly.

Sure the responsibility is ours because we had to take better care of them but, now, we decided to make a radical renovation, and to replace these plants with veggies and fruits.

We had not real knowledge about planting food, but we are quite hard workers, and we love to learn new skills, so I'm confident about this project.

For now, with our new tool we started to eradicate everything.

The task is not easy, and it will take a while just to clean everything out.

The hardest part for now has been the bush in the middle, to eradicate it, we spend almost 2 full days of hard word, but we got it at the end.

As you can see, the mess is quite big but, the good part is that we have been able to recover the irrigation network that was buried under the plants, and it is a good starting point for further development in our project.

The next step will be to clean out everything and start planting the new plants, I'm going to keep you update here, and I'll share with you everything I'm going to learn, and hopefully we will see new plants and tree out of this mess.
