Now I really want to tell you about my longing for mother's cooking at home which is usually served every time I come home. Now I am overseas. Sometimes I remember cooking at home that tastes very good. This time I will tell about rendang for all of you. Hope you all like it.
Did you know that the most delicious food in the world, one of which comes from our homeland, namely Indonesia. The food is Rendang.
Rendang is also a type of preparation made from the main ingredient of meat using spices originating from one of the regions in Indonesia, namely Minangkabau. This rendang is produced from a cooking process that can take hours to cook by having to repeatedly use coconut milk until the dish is dry and can leave tender pieces of meat that are thick black in color but incredibly delicious.
It's no longer an excuse, the people of Minangkabau themselves have a tradition that is usually called wandering or living in another area. At that time they also thought of finding various ways to process the food so that it can be consumed for a long time, even up to 1 week later it is still fresh and delicious.

2 cm | cinnamon |

1 stick | lemongrass |
2 cm | galangal |
2 pieces | lime leaves |
1 teaspoon | salt |
¼ teaspoon | granulated sugar |
5 tablespoon | oil for frying |

How to make rendang, the best dish I've ever eaten
- Step 1
First of all, first slice the onion and garlic that you have prepared, first puree the spices that have been prepared except for the cinnamon ingredients, there are sweet, lemongrass and also clove ingredients.
- Step 2
Take another 1 tablespoon of finely ground chili that you did earlier, then mix it into the prepared meat, mix well again then add the sauteed onion and sliced garlic.
- Step 3
Then Enter the meat that has been mixed earlier with fine chili, stir first until mixed very evenly. Enter again the diluted coconut milk that has been prepared as much as 1 liter first, cook and occasionally the food is stirred until the coconut milk that you previously poured is only half boiling.
- Step 4
Enter all the remaining spices from what you prepared earlier and stir again until well mixed, and also add another 1 liter of thin coconut milk and you also cook until the coconut milk is just a little like before, then add another liter of very thick coconut milk and cook again and you stir until it dries up, depending on our own taste.
- Step 5
If you feel the meat is still hard, you can add more hot water to taste and cook again until the meat is soft.
