Innovation in the work of Steemit: support the witnesses!
Hello all! Steem has fallen markedly recently, following bitcoin and ether. Overall, the cryptocurrency market is going through bad times.
What can help any project and attract investors' attention? Of course, development, innovation! Right now our team (@alexmove and @greatketty) is developing a number of unique projects.
1. Steem Market. Marketplace for buyers and sellers. The site will be able to buy electronic services from all over the world first of all, and later - products. These are unique opportunities for development, such as paying for an English lesson with Steam.
2. Checking the uniqueness of the posts. If the platform has only unique content, more users will be able to see the site in Google and Yandex searches. The influx of new authors will also attract the attention of investors. The system is already in place in various popular communities!
3. User ratings. This is another unique idea from @alexmove, thanks to which you can understand the most active authors and encourage them. It might be of interest first of all to managers of different communities in order to activate authors in writing posts and commenting.

I don't think these projects will bring alot of new users to the steem blockchain.... these are pretty good for improvement for user experience but i dont think its good for getting new people on the blockchain.
I think the focus should be more on the making money part of the steem blockchain. Steemit is a great platform to make money connecting with awesome people and thats why i joined a year ago.
I say we create a few good investment opportunities and advertise that... that way people see they can make money doing the things they would normally do on platforms like twitter/facebook.
Yes, attracting new users is also part of our plans, but for now we are improving activities within the platform.
But don't you think the two would go amazingly together? By implementing more monetization methods and more ways to monetize steemit users of steemit will enjoy their stay on the platform way more (because they are making money which they can use to change their lives and those of their families). AND this will attract more new users who are interested in making a little money doing fun things (being active on social media, partaking in contests ect...). Who in turn will see how amazing the community on steemit is.
