Earn While You Learn Part II - In Ontario, Canada
I am using Georgian College as a reference because it is local, and I have a little understanding of what it offers. This is one of the schools I taught at.
In the previous article, I discussed the concept of taking an Apprenticeship program. The most significant advantage is working and getting paid in your chosen field. What if the course you want does not have such a program. It is possible to work under your Student Visa. During classes, you are allowed to work 20 hours per week, and during vacation periods, it is possible to work full time.
It is important to remember that the minimum wage is about $14.75. Housekeepers earn an average of $16.76 locally.
The total education cost (depending upon the qualification) ranges from $ 17000 to 30000 CAD. For instance, the Personal Support Worker is a two-semester course costing roughly CAD 8700 per semester. Personal Support Workers start at about $20 per hour but can range much higher.

Financial Aid and/or Loans are available. Anticipate increasing your monthly expenditures by about $100 per month while in school and increasing it to $150 per month after graduation.
