Greetings everyone, hope you all are doing well? Because I'm doing just fine. I am happy to take part in this contest which is my first post/ contest in this amazing community @steem.skillshare. Thanks @alena-vladi, you did wonderfully well by organizing this contest tagged; "The Skill that I Want to Have But I Don't" which will help us discover our hidden skills and we can also bring it to reality. For this, I will be writing /sharing on the following headings;

The professional skill I don't have but would really like to have

I have grown to have passion for fashion and everything about it. Tailoring/fashion designing has always been this skill I admired so much from childhood.

Why I need this skill, how I could use it in my professional sphere

There are so many reasons why I need fashion designing as my skill. The first reason is that I have passion for it and also have a little foundation on fashion designing.
Below are pictures of the dress I made in my free time;

Secondly, the ability to beautify myself and the people around me. The fun involved in this skill really attract my attention to the skill; to me, doing what is clearly important is having fun and it is also exciting doing what you love and most importantly, this skill is more of creativity and charisma.
I could actually use this skill in my professional sphere by going for an internship first, have good equipment required for the skill and then apply my sense of style and color to it.

What prevent you from getting this skill?

The only thing that hinders me from getting this skill is "time". Combining my academic work and acquiring skill at the same time is not an easy task. Although I strongly believe that a day will come that I will be able to have/ do my dream skill with perfection.

How my life will change with this skill

This skill can change my life in various ways. I know with fashion designing my unique identity will come to reality, my confidence, self-esteem and boldness will increase and with this skill I can easily express my personality.
In conclusion, fashion is a fulfilling skill for people that equips with understanding needed for design creation which can help in creating your own path. I hope someday that I will have this skill. Thank you!
