TRON and Steemit Integration- Part 2

In the ongoing #trxintegration celebration, I have already published Part 1- How profitable it is for the investors and the new users joining Steem Blockchain. In today's publication, I will project how much TRX reward is being issued & distributed for Steem users daily, monthly, yearly, etc. I will project a range as the exact figure is a little complex to project.

As TRX reward is being distributed in a 1SP: 1TRX ratio, first we need to calculate the amount of SP that is being given as rewards in Steem Blockchain.

Before we can calculate the amount of SP as rewards being given to the various actors in Steem Blockchain, we need to calculate how many new STEEM tokens are being minted and from that, we will project that range.

In order to calculate the new STEEM tokens that are being minted in Steem Blockchain, we need to calculate the inflation first.

Inflation

Current_inflation_rate = (978 - (head_block_number / 250000)) / 100

Head Block Number= 49,191,922

You can find the Head Block Number from Steemworld.org. Click on System Info to know the Head Block Number.

So current Inflation Rate= (978-(49,191,922/250000))/100= 781.23/100= 7.81%

New STEEM tokens minted per Block

new_steem = ( ( virtual_supply * current_inflation_rate ) / ( 10000 * BLOCKS_PER_YEAR ) )

Virtual Supply= Total Supply of STEEM+ Total supply of SBD in STEEM equivalent
Virtual Supply= 402,825,822 STEEM

You can get the virtual supply figure from Steemdb.io.

Block producing time in Steem Blockchain= 3 seconds

Blocks per year= (365 * 24 * 60 * 60)/3= 10,512,000

New STEEM tokens minted per Block= ((402,825,822 * 781.23)/ (10000 * 10,512,000))= 2.993 STEEM

So the total number of new STEEM tokens that are being minted per day= ((24 * 60 * 60) * 2.993)/3= 86198.4 STEEM

Total number of new STEEM tokens that are being minted per month= 86198.4 * 30= 2,585, 952 STEEM

Total number of new STEEM tokens that are being minted per year= 86198.4 * 365= 31, 462,416 STEEM

Of the total reward pool, 65% is for PoB(Content Creators & Curators), 10% is for Steem DAO, 10% is for witnesses, 15% is for vested token holders.

Steem DAO is funded in SBD only. Vested token holders, Curators, Witnesses all receive their rewards in SP only.

Authors get the rewards either in SP+SBD(with 50/50 payout) or SP only(100% power up payout). So 50% of the Author reward is always in SP, and the remaining 50% can be in SP or SBD subject to the payout setting chosen by the author.

So if all the authors choose 50% SBD/50% SP payout, then the maximum SP reward in Steem Blockchain will be= (32.5+10+15+16.25)%= 73.75%

If all the authors choose 100% Power Up reward, then the maximum SP reward in Steem Blockchain will be= (32.5+10+15+32.5)%= 90%

In actual practice, neither all the authors choose 50% SBD/50%, nor 100% Power Up reward. So the actual figure will be somewhere between 73.75% to 90%. However, with the recent initiatives, community effort, most of the authors these days are selecting 100% power reward, so the current figure may be somewhat closer to 90%.

So now we have got a range, that is 73.75% to 90% of the reward pool is being distributed as SP to the users in Steem Blockchain.

So per day, the range (of SP) that is being distributed as rewards to various actors in Stem Blockchaion= 73.75% to 90% of 86198.4= 63751 SP to 77578 SP

Monthly projection= 73.75% to 90% of 2,585,952= 1,907,139 to 2,327,356 SP

Yearly projection= 73.75% to 90% of 31,462,416= 23,203,531 to 28,316,174 SP

Please note that the actual inflation is decreasing at a rate of 0.01% per every 250,000 Blocks, so the actual figure after a year will be slightly lower than this figure.

For the last two days, many people have been asking how much TRX rewards are allocated for Steem users. As the recent integration of TRX and the subsequent distribution of TRX rewards for STEEM users is purely based on 1SP: 1 TRX, what we are getting as SP in Steem Blockchain projects the TRX rewards too.

So as calculated above, the daily, monthly, yearly TRX rewards in Steem Blockchain:-

• Daily TRX rewards in Steem Blockchain- 63751 to 77578 TRX

• Monthly TRX rewards in Steem Blockchain- 1.907 to 2.327 Million TRX

• Yearly TRX rewards in Steem Blockchain- 23.203 to 28.316 Million TRX

The price of TRX is approx $0.03 now. Take the median figure of the daily range of TRX rewards(63751-75578), it is 69664.5 TRX.

So approximately 69664.5 * 0.03= $2090 are being given to the Steem users.

At the moment, the Steem users are getting an average of 69664 TRX(2090 USD worth) on a daily basis. This figure could fluctuate within the range(63751-75578) subject to how many authors are selecting 100% power up reward.
