Hello lovely people,

Flower just makes me happy!

Today was a regular day, nothing special, so I made it special by doing some special things ;). I woke up at 8.30 am, did all the things which are supposed to be done in the morning. After taking shower I prepared maggie in breakfast, I know not a healthy option but what else you can make in 5 mins?

It's been ages since I visited a salon. I think the last I visited a salon was in February. Ok so I went to a nearby salon around 11 o clock but I made a mistake that I didn't take the prior appointment.

Actually I don't know why? but I assumed that there will not be any crowd, but to my surprise, they were pretty packed up as they were maintaining social distancing and entertaining very few people at a time. So they asked me to wait for 50 mins or book an appointment for later.

I was not interested in either of the option. So I decided to go to another salon. It wasn't nice as this one. This was a small salon, they were also following all the guidelines and maintaining hygiene, but I wasn't very convinced so I just got my eyebrows done.

Then I did some shopping for the upcoming Teej and Ganesha festival. I bought flowers and fruit as well.
I came back and prepared Kadhi Pakora & rice in lunch. Kadhi is a dish that consists of a thick gravy of curd and gram flour and contains vegetable fritters called Pakora. I think most Indians are familiar with it.

After having lunch, I opened my laptop and was working for quite some time, I took a break and had a cup of green tea.

In the evening I had tea with some snacks and did a little workout. Around 7. o clock I went again to the market to get the Mehndi (henna tattoo) on my hands for the festival. Remember the special thing I was talking about. I found one shop and the guy applied Mehndi on the front and back of my hands.

He took around 40 mins to apply, they are generally very fast in applying mehndi, though I showed him some designs which I liked from the internet, but he was adamant to put his design only.

I also know how to apply mehndi and usually do by myself but this time I thought lemme get it done from outside.

I didn't prepare dinner tonight because my hands were engaged and ordered pizza online from dominos.

I was simply sitting and waiting for my mehndi to get dried up, Around 11.30 it was almost dried, so I removed it but didn't wash my hand as they say it gives a dark color if we leave it without washing overnight.

And then I went to sleep. Let's see how dark will be the color of my mehndi tomorrow.

Here is my introduction post.

Sort:

Kadhi a very popular dish in Rajastan. When I had a tour to Rajastan back in 2016, I went to eat samosa in a stall, they served it with kadhi. I never used to have that kind of expreinced previously. I was hesitant to even eat that, Just thought instead of red chutney or chole how can one take samosa with kadhi. At last my friend told me to mange with hat, to my surprise I never had ever experienced such delicious kadhi. Then I realized I am in Rajastan and that is why it is so delicious.

You hands are very professionally decorated with mehendi & looking beautiful too.
