A leader, by my definition is any one who knows their WHY, who conceives, paves, structures and moves with others through a process towards a vision. To be a good leader therefore, one has to be naturally endowed with some qualities or must acquire them on their journey towards your vision.

Good evening dear Steemians, I hope your steam level was top today. Permit me share with you my best day of last week while laying emphasis on one of many values I hold firmly to; that of ensuring that when I'm long gone tomorrow, I should be able to look down from above and be glad to see that my legacy is either kept as it is, or is improved upon.

Knowing that good leadership isn't void of qualities such as discipline, self confidence, positive attitude and mindset, pois, spontaneity, style, courage, focus and integrity, this holiday period we decided to introduce the kids at home into an entrepreneurship and self esteem program with a young institution called ELEVATE ESTEEM. This was in a bid to start grooming and stilling these tools in them so that when the time comes for us to pass on the baton, we as parents and the society they will be involved with can fall back on a cosy hammock rather than on a sword.

Saturday the 28th of August 2021(my best day) was actually the graduation and certificate award ceremony of this holiday's edition, which took place at Sawa Hotel in Bonanjo/Douala.

After a drink of freshly pressed orange juice at 9am, I dropped them off at the site so they would commence rehearsals against their presentations which were to begin at 1pm in the presence of parents and guests.

The event started exactly at 1pm and all the kids present were so excited. One could actually tell through their confidence and presence that there is hope for a better tomorrow.

On the agenda of the occasion were mind building articulations such as positive affirmations and vibrations, self esteem awareness, yoga and meditation, self esteem skits, dancing, photography, reading, and journaling.

The event came to a close at about 4pm, the kids were exhausted but very happy and transformed as well. The parents were more than overjoyed and fulfilled and I can personally say it was an amazing way of occupying the kids during the holidays while creating impact for themselves and for the society as a whole. I actually felt some fulfilment this days when i retired home.

I would like to encourage all parents, would be parents and guardians to get involved in crafting the future we all hope for and the nation, the Africa, the world we are expecting to have. It doesn't depend on the government nor the powers that be or the policemen, the neighbour etc., to make this come true. It all starts from the smallest unit of society which is the FAMILY, our KIDS.

We all drove home after that and at about 8pm, every one especially the kids had crashed and off to bed. I stayed up to do a diary writeup about the day which I posted on @steem-cameroon, but eventually closed that day with a movie from Netflix that I recommend to you as well; KING OF BOYS parts 1 and its limited series of 8 episodes. Its political and actually exposes most of the unimaginable ills we can have in an unstructured and uncultured society.

I finally brought that day to a halt at about 11am when I retired to sleep.
