The Greens' Steem Bank Report: July 05 - 18, 2021 | Steemit loans, Investments, Contests, etc.
The Greens’ Steem Bank is an online bank that was created by @thegreens to ease Cameroonian steemians' Steem to BTC to CFAF (Local currency) transactions as well as reduce the cost of the transactions by 20 -50%.
The principal objectives of the bank are;
- To ease Steem/SBD - CFAF transactions for Cameroonian Steemians
- To reduce the Steem/SBD withdrawal cost for Cameroonian Steemians
- To minimize the losses incurred during Steem/SBD withdrawal transactions e.g. A lot of people have made mistakes and sent SBD to Poloniex or mistakes with BTC Wallets.
- To reduce the time taken and worries associated with completing a Steem/SBD to CFAF transaction e.g. Sometimes it takes hours or days for a BTC confirmation to be complete or there may be network issues but with the bank, once Steem/SBD is deposited, the MTN Momo is credited.
- To reduce or stop the power down of Cameroonian steemians’ Steemit accounts via the provision of very low interest Steem loans (10 -13% Interest rates). We believe, if we give Cameroonian steemians loans, they will reduce the rate at which they power down their accounts.
- To give Steem trading and investment alerts/advice to Cameroonian steemians
- To guide and provide Cameroonian steemians with information on how they can better invest in Steem
Bank Report 06 - 18 July 2021
It's been a long banking week i.e. almost two weeks and the bank did some significant trade deals and awarded some loans.
Bank Trading Deals
Most of our trade deals have been small trade deals ranging between 5 - 10SBD with the steemians trading very small amounts to meet up with some of their urgent and pressing financial needs. We had 05 withdrawals from;
One important thing we noticed is that most Cameroonian steemians are now beginning to understand the value of investing in steem during Steem price falls. We are glad Steemians are pledgin a target SP and that many of them are powering up their accounts.

The Power Up Challenge
The Power Up Challenge is a weekly steem power-up challenge for Cameroonian Steemians organized by The Greens' Steem Bank in partnership with @steem-cameroon. The mid month edition of the July Power Up Challenge registered 03 entries (@thegreens, @yems.group and @steem-cameroon) who powered up 339 Steem.
