As an African man, I do believe that a tree with human parts do exist because as kids, we have heard stories of trees bleeding or people entering and coming out of trees, using it as their meeting ground. Even in my village, there was a tree we don’t touch or cut any of its branches but they did a church crusade and cut the tree down.

TITLE: ALICIA, THE REIGN OF TERROR!!

PLOT:

Once upon a time in a small community called kuvuki. A community surrounded with lots of big neighboring villages that are their enemies, always trying to destroy them. Unknown to the enemies that they have this strange tree god called “Venus” that always make them victorious whenever they go for battles.

The village chief priest and priestess were the conduits through which Venus guided the community. The village chief priest name was Ali. Ali was a tool in hands of Venus, who made him so strong thereby making him the leader of every battle. They also had a village priestess, the eye of the tree gods. Before they go for any war, they always seek her council to consult with Venus to know if they should go or not. Soon, all the enemies of kuvuki kingdom were no match for them and was defeated and peace reigned.

Over time, as peace settled in Kuvuki Land and civilization and new religions influenced the villagers, the blood sacrifices to Venus ceased. The chief priest and priestess, who were married, found themselves unable to have children due to Venus closing the womb of the priestess in response to the abandonment. The chief priest understood this wasn’t natural, he had to convince his wife to follow him to go see the tree god. She finally agreed. They could hardly locate the place because the shrine is now filled with bushes but with the help of an engraved sign, they could find the tree. Ali and his wife did their usual blood sacrifice and lay their case and also begged them for a child. Venus answered there prayers to give them a child but unknown to them, venus had a hidden agenda to take revenge on the community. Venus wanted blood!!!

Venus manifested as a baby, born with a triangular birthmark on her forehead that was identical to the one on the tree. Unfortunately for the priestess, she died during childbirth. Ali recognized the birthmark and knew that Venus has reincarnated as his daughter. He was afraid at first but had no choice because she was so beautiful. He name her after the mum, “Alicia”

Sixteen years later, Alicia grew up to be a formidable presence in Kuvuki Land. Only few people knew about that symbol on her head because a lot of them had died out of old age or one sickness or the other. As a baby, there was this python that followed alicia everywhere she go to. It was her lucky charm. It gave her immense strength and courage like the father once had when he was young. She have studied all the mums witchcraft books and could chant every spell in the books. Alicia formed a gang that wreaked havoc on the community. She burned down churches and mosques, causing widespread fear and chaos. Despite numerous attempts by the authorities to stop her, Alicia remained elusive and continued her reign of terror.

Security was at high alert. During one of her robbery attempts on a bank, the police ended up killing all her squad. She got hit several times by the bullet while she was trying to escape but it had no effect on her because she had already fortified herself with black magic. This infuriated Alicia and in retaliation she killed the police commissioner, leading to a massive manhunt. She remained a menace to the community, her symbol left as a grim signature at each crime scene. The acting commissioner of police, placed a bounty on her head and if anyone can bring her dead or alive, they will be rewarded.

The killing of the commissioner had gone viral and drastically reduced the morale of the police men. They were all afraid. The ones who had the hand in killing her gang members were killed one by one. With her father's arrest, the police hoped to gain insight into her Whereabouts but he died during interrogation because of how they manhandled him at his old age. Alicia sought revenge for her father's death and targeted the new police commissioner but it was very difficult for her since they know that killing her dad will make her come for revenge. Considering how desperate she was to take her pound of flesh, she became vulnerable.

The police commissioner now used himself as bait pretending to be going for a meeting with a light armed convoy. In a daring confrontation, Alicia was captured but proved nearly indestructible because they couldn’t kill her. Her python attacked the police men while they dragged her to the station but they killed it. It only neutralized one part of her powers. They try to kill her again thinking they have neutralized her powers but it didn’t work. Her powers seemed limitless

Weeks have passed and she was still in their custody. So they went ahead to ask the king what they should do with her that she can’t be killed. He demanded they should give him some time to consult with his gods since he Is entitled to his own personal shrine. The gods revealed to him that alicia is not an ordinary girl, that she’s a god that came as a child to take revenge on the people of kuvuki community for abandoning it. That the key to ending Alicia reign is by destroying the tree that her soul is tied with. That the symbol on her head is engraved on a tree that his father use to served back when they were at war with neighboring villages. Luckily for him, his dad was still alive though very old. He hurriedly met his father and he gave him a road map on how to locate the tree of Venus.

The king went with the acting police commissioner and some group of villagers and they all set out to locate the tree. It wasn’t easy locating the tree but they found it. The young men with their matchete started cutting it down and as they cut it down, it bled profusely, causing alicia intense suffering. Eventually, she died in her cell, and Kuvuki Land was freed from her reign of terror.

Since that day forward, kuvuki land became very peaceful and till this present day, no one has ever been able to terrorize the land like Alicia.
