What is your understanding of A Forest Guard? Name three Forest areas in your Country.

A forest guard is anyone that try to preserve forests from been destroyed. They do everything in their power to protect its habitation.

Nadia born in a dense forest had know idea who are parents were but she was raised by trees. This trees comes alive in the middle of the night to play and have fun with each other but whenever they notice the presence of humans they become trees again.

Among other trees, Nadia seem to be a unique creature. She had the resemblance of humans. So, not all trees were kind to her. At the age of 12, she was banished by the king into the human world to stay with her kind because she was know longer needed among them. They couldn’t endure seeing her because it was her kind that has destroyed them a lot.

Nadia was all alone, left in the jungle to fend for herself. She was prey to every living creature in the forest because she was different from them and had two legs and hands. She got chased down by a leopard and was attacked with blood all over her body while she lied on the ground helpless and about to be devoured.

As the leopard moved towards her, she heard a loud noise, she has never heard such noise before but she was grateful, that whatever the noise was, it has killed the leopard that was about to eat her. It didn’t take long for Nadia to faint because she had loosed a lot of blood.

When she woke up, she saw herself been treated. She was like a wild animal and attacked the family who has saved her life. They had to sedate her. She woke up two days later but this time she was in chains. So, she could do no harm. They try to communicate with her but it wasn’t possible because the only language she ever spoke was tree language.

Nadia was surprised, she has never seen humans before. It was her first time. She was wondering why they looked so much like her. All she ever knew was her tree family who left her out there to die and she never forgave them. Over the years, she began to warm up to Mr and Mrs Eric. They treated her like their own child because they didn’t have any kids of their own. They thought her the ways of humans and she was grateful for it. She now knows that the sound she heard was a gun that killed that leopard.

Mr and Mrs Eric enrolled Nadia in high school and was always bullied by some of her classmates all the time because she sometimes acted weird. One time, when she was coming back from school, she came across the same bullies and they chased her to an abandoned warehouse and Started rough handing her and mistakenly one of them pushed her over from a the top of the warehouse and she died. The bullies panicked and fled promising not to tell anyone. They had know idea that the death of Nadia was the birth of the “forest guard”.

Mr and Mrs eric went to school looking for Nadia but the school authorities said she has gone back home. They tried to call the police to inform them of their missing daughter but they didn’t pay attention to them because it wasn’t up to 24hrs. They moved from street to street with some neighbors looking for their daughter. Luckily one of the neighbors saw her with blood all over her body, informed her parents and they rushed her to the hospital but they couldn’t find injury on her. It seems she had “self healing” abilities.

They took her home to wash the blood of her body and told her she won’t be going back to school until they have figured out what happened to her. She herself was surprised, how the injury magically disappeared. Her body physique started changing drastically. She could change into a tree, she could control anything natural as long as it was not artificial and it was from nature, she could even suspend herself on the air. She was excited about her new gifts she has discovered and was ready to use it to taunt those bullies.

Is been a week in the house and the investigation was leading to nowhere. The bullies has did a good work in covering their crimes and Nadia refused to tell them anything reasonable because she wanted her own pound of flesh. Mr and Mrs Eric sent her back school. The bullies were scared to see her alive and ran away only mark remained, The head of the gang. She beat them publicly one after the other and gave them a lesson of their life and they promised never to bully anyone again.

Mark grew up and became the mayor of the city and Nadia became an advocate for justice considering what she had passed through in life. From been rejected by her tree family and what she passed through in the hands of bullies. She was also a vigilante who saves people with her supernatural powers but she has been concealing her identity. Mark hated Nadia for embarrassing him and his friends in public in front of the school. Nadia didn’t care at all.

As mayor, mark wanted to build an amusement park for the town’s children but where he wanted to site it was at Nadia’s birthplace and that was the only forest reserve they had there left. The town’s people didn’t want it to happen because they have always known mark as a cunning man and won’t take chances. As much as Nadia hated the memories that forest brought to her, she knew that was the source of her power and she owe it as a duty to guard the forest. Everyday, Nadia and the community will come in their numbers to protest in front of the mayor’s office but it all fell in deaf ears. He didn’t bother and he was going ahead with his mission.

Mark and his boys advance into the forest despite the plea and and several warnings. They matched into heart of the forest with bulldozers, caterpillars, axe etc. Nadia felt the pain with every tree they brought down. Each branch they broke resonated through her vein causing a spiritual connection. This brought about her full powers been unleashed upon the mayor and his boys.

The forest responded to her call for help, the animals heard her plea. It was a battle between the forest guard and humans. Leaves became her armor, roots her shield, and branches her weapons. She wanted to protect every living creature and trees by all means. Tree roots and vines entangled with the bulldozers and machines, branches destroyed structures in every command Nadia gave.

Finally, mayor and his boys retreated, they couldn’t handle the pressure. One of them said this isn’t what they signed up for. Nadia was exhausted but she finally won the battle in her full natural self. The trees and the animals finally embraced its guardian. Nadia’s sacrifice had saved the sacred land, leaving behind a testament to the power of nature defending itself against the relentless advance of mankind.

Since then, no one dare to attack the trees, mark was sued and sentenced by the court for the damages he caused and Nadia was now an intermediary between humans and the trees in the world.
