My First Date Under a Tree.

If you have ever gone out on a date with a lady and you took her under a tree,with green surroundings,you can testify how sweet and romantic the show would go . In our days , please don't ask me how old I am 😃. We used to plug and chew almost all the green grass under that tree. Then we would lean all round the tree. Don't ask me what we were doing. It was not easy for a guy to even touch a lady.He will clap his hands ,swing them in the air ,swirl on a tree branch to relax his tensed muscles and then try to say it. Boys used to know how to beat about all green bushes😅. After two hours the boy would gather the courage of a wrestler to say " I love you" this was a journey oh .Today ,things have changed. We enjoyed a tree that was planted by some other person.

There was alot of natural greenery before the year 2000.In less than 20 years ,so much has been destroyed. Millions of trees have been cut down without being replaced and alot of natural land and greenery has been destroyed for the construction of other industrial infrastructure with no replacement. The people who live in the country side or in the outskirts of town will confirm that the air in most of those areas covered with green vegetation is as fresh as morning dew.This is because the greenery provided by the trees absorbs the carbon dioxide in the air and leaves the atmosphere with very clean air.Unfortunately,human beings have contributed alot, negatively, to climate change than they are making an effort to mitigate the present situation.
Human activities have contributed to climate change ranging from , droughts flooding, land slides,pollution as a result of poor waste management and more.

Planting trees has proven beyond doubt to be one of the best strategies to fight climate change. Trees will help to clean the atmosphere off green house gases .This will help purify the ozone layer which is already hosting tones of green house gases that are causing alot of changes in our climate.One would notice that there is an increase in populations facing more risks from natural disasters, ranging from earthquakes to tsunamis,bush fires, melting ice and more .There are several ways through which these risks can be reduced but planting of environmental friendly trees will go a long way to help better the situation. When we plant more trees we send away drought.The Land becomes more green and fresh than brown and dusty. Planting more trees will help in reducing atmospheric gases like methane ,carbon dioxide and others. Planting trees provides shade.Once there is a a grown tree any where ,one can sit under its shade to rest from a scourging sunshine or wait for a drizzling rain to stop.

In our days , meeting for a date under a tree was quite romantic.Lets plant more trees.we enjoy trees planted by others today ,let us give someone the opportunity to enjoy a tree planted by us in future.thanks for reading @thegreens .
