How are you all? Hope everyone is well. I am very happy that today I can share something with you about an important topic. Currently many are victims of Cyber Bullying so I find this contest very interesting. However, I would first like to thank Steem Cameroon for organizing such a contest.

What I mean by cyberbullying is cyberbullying when someone is harassed online. Where one harasses another online in various ways. It is very common nowadays and anyone can fall victim to it at any time. To me it seems like a big crime in this era of globalization.
As the present age is the age of the internet. So almost everyone is connected to different social media due to the internet connecting with each other from anywhere in the world. So I think most of the internet users and social media users are victims of this type of cyberbullying. I was victimized once when I was in university. I was treated to something that I had a very bad experience with.
As time goes on, everything is becoming more and more within the reach of people due to the internet and technology. People are getting what they want at home. Due to which people spend more time on internet and people are not more inclined towards acquiring knowledge. People's values are decreasing day by day, they are not respecting and giving importance to each other, everyone is finding everything easy. And since everyone can communicate with each other even from a distance and see each other's everything, because of all this, many people are now victims of cyber bullying.
I have seen many victims of cyber bullying. Nowadays, superstars are more victims of cyber bowling. When players play poorly, they are insulted over the internet in various ways. I want to talk about a game, a cricket player from Bangladesh. He got a lot of insults over the internet due to his poor performance which made him very upset. Which later had many effects in his real life. Besides, If the hero and heroine of the movie do a bad movie or do something bad, they are harassed by the general public in various ways through the internet. Because of which this crime is increasing now and anyone can become a victim of this cyber bullying at any time.
So if people don't depend on internet and increase their self worth by acquiring knowledge and also respect others then I don't think such crimes will increase. Therefore, to prevent such crimes, everyone must be aware and use the Internet and technology properly.

Since steemit is like a social media medium. There are people from different places and different types of users. And since there are some opportunities to earn money on this platform, I think that this kind of crime can happen on this platform. Because nowadays people's values have decreased, no one respects anyone, everyone only thinks about their own interests and tries to harm others. I think we all should be aware of everything. Although I have never been a victim of cyberbullying on this platform but maybe many have been so I want nothing like this to happen on this platform. Give everyone the opportunity to work safely.
Seeing such scenes, I think we should make ourselves more aware. We should not do anything through which others are harmed. One should increase self-esteem and respect others. I will tell everyone that you must not insult anyone by spoiling your personality, do not harass any person in any way through the internet because such a situation may happen to you. So we should learn from mistakes and be more aware of everything.

You are right . Morals are dwindling as days pass by and people are becoming egoistic . Any things that hurt their ego trigger a bullying behaviour in them.
As the saying goes , respect others and you will be respected .

You have written well my friend, truly we are in a very selfish world where people only think about themselves and not minding the feelings of others. The steemit platform has tried to protect its users but we all need to protect ourselves by not clicking on the various links we see in the comment section all in the name of getting a reward. We should not take Cyber Bullying lightly, because if we become victims the effects are very fatal, therefore we must all work hand in hand to campaign Stop Cyber Bullying.
My family and I have experienced it and become victims of Cyber Bullying.
It is interesting to see that you have said a lot about cyber bullying which to me is a babaric act that can affect some one emotionally and mentally but sometimes it can let to depression
But I also want to say that steemit is the best social media platform which make more used of keeping our information personal and no one can ever harass us about that do let stay safe while using this platform
