How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

Gender equality is a very good thing and everyone should be equal in all rights. If a country wants to be successful, all genders must first have equal rights in that country. I have some plans to make my community a gender-equal community.

In order to make our society gender equal, I will first run a campaign on social media to make people aware. We all know how much power social media has, and with the help of social media, we can reach more people. So running a social media campaign will be good.

Also, I will conduct seminars every week to educate people about gender rights. The more people I inform, the more people will commit to it, which will greatly help in creating a gender equal society. So these are some activities that I will do.

Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Well, every day is women's day, but celebrating women's day on March 8 proves to be very good and provides a lot of awareness among people. It is not that only March 8 provides awareness among people about women's rights, but we should provide awareness to people every day. But if a day is celebrated for something special, it certainly increases visibility.

Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

Yes, I think the fight for feminism and the fight for women's rights are the same thing. Feminism means that men and women have equal rights, and on the other hand, women's rights mean giving proper rights to women. These two things are related, but their main purpose is to give women the same rights as men. So we can say that these two things are the same.

What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country(community).

It is a very good thing for a woman to be the president or hold any other high office, and it teaches people that a woman is equal to a man and has the same rights as a man. This thing creates a very positive impact in the society, and it creates hope among the girls of the society to achieve their goals.

One thing I have seen is that women are more responsible than men, and if a woman is appointed to a high position in the country, it will be very good for the betterment of the country. There are many women in our country who are working in big positions, and they are doing very well. I admire them a lot.

Now let me give you an example, and that example is Benazir Bhutto, who was the former Prime Minister of Pakistan. She is no longer in this world, but the services she rendered for Pakistan can never be forgotten. She was a very worthy woman. She was so sincere with Pakistan that she sacrificed her life for it.

She has shown that she can do a good job like men. Even today, many programmes are active in her name to help the poor. One of her programmes that still helps poor and widowed women is the Benazir Income Support Program. Although Benazir is no longer in the world, he is still alive in the hearts of people.

What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit).

I will go with merit rather than gender because merit is what makes a good leader. We cannot be a successful nation if we consider gender when choosing leaders. We should give equal rights to both men and women and do everything on merit only.

I have seen in many places that people give preference to the gender instead of merit, which is totally unfair. If we act like this, it is not good for our country, and if we want to be successful, we should not prefer gender for selection. Rather, we should give priority to merit.

I am Inviting @janemorane, @aalirubab, @growwithme, @artist1111 and @suboohi to take part in this contest.
