Steem Cameroon Contest - My Short Movie Script

Title: "A Night to Remember"

Characters:

John - 22 year old college student
Sarah - John's long-time girlfriend
Tim - John's best friend

Scene 1:

John and Sarah are sitting on a park bench enjoying the summer evening. John smiles as he looks around, taking in the beauty of the night.

John: "This is the perfect night. I'm so glad we decided to come here."

Sarah: "Me too. It's so peaceful and quiet. I feel like I can just relax and forget about all the stress of school and work."

John: "Yeah, and it's just us. No one around to bother us."

Sarah smiles and leans in to kiss John.

Scene 2:

John is walking down the street when he sees his best friend Tim.

Tim: "John! What are you doing here?"

John: "I was just out for a walk with Sarah. What about you?"

Tim: "I'm meeting some friends for a party. Why don't you come? It'll be fun."

John: "I don't know, I was just enjoying some alone time with Sarah."

Tim: "Come on, it'll be a night to remember!"

John hesitates for a moment before finally agreeing to go.

Scene 3:

John and Tim arrive at the party. The music is loud and the atmosphere is electric.

John: "Wow, this place is really hopping!"

Tim: "Yeah, it's gonna be a great night."

John and Tim grab a couple of beers and start mingling with the crowd. After a few hours, John is feeling a bit overwhelmed and starts to head for the door.

Tim: "Where are you going? The night is still young!"

John: "I know, but I think I need some fresh air. Maybe I'll come back later."

Tim: "Alright, but don't forget this is a night to remember!"

John smiles and heads out the door.

Scene 4:

John is walking back to the park, where he and Sarah first met. He smiles as he remembers the moment they shared and how peaceful it was.

John: "This is the perfect night. It's like everything is just perfect."

He takes a deep breath and looks up at the stars.

John: "This is a night to remember."

John finds Sarah still sitting on the park bench, waiting for him. She smiles when she sees him.

Sarah: "I was starting to worry about you."

John takes Sarah's hand in his and they look up at the stars together.

John: "Let's just sit here and enjoy this moment, together."

They smile and sit in silence, content in each other's presence.
