The Dairy Game :30:08:2021/ Female Painters

Kindly receive warm greetings from my end, I wish to begin by thanking all curators for the wonderful work you all do to ensure equality on this platform, once more I am happy to share my dairy of Monday the 30/08/2021 once more with you all. I am currently in Buea and as we all know, mondays are always ghost towns here and i am spending it with a friend and her family at Bomaka
I woke up on this day at about 7:30am, i said my prayers and went into the bathroom where i had my teeth brushed up. From there, my friend and i went into the kitchen and prepared breakfast for the family . We made pancake that was to be taken alongside tea. We fried enough that was ok for everyone to eat and be satisfied

From there, i left to assist my friends cousins with their laundry, however i wanted to teach them how to wash their own clothes so i invited them to wash with me and i was so impressed at how fast they learnt such that they were so excited and insisted we take pictures so that their mum who is in Tiko could see the pictures . My friend helped us in taking the pictures while we washed and by 11:am, we were done

My friend had planned to paint her room on this same day too so when we were done with the laundry, we mixed the paint with some water and began painting, it wasn’t so easy for us as it was our first time but we were determined to succeed with it. We later on realized we had mixed the paint to be a little too light so we added the paint and tried again and this time around it was much better , we started by painting the walls of the room and later on we went further to paint the ceiling of the room. She had bought two paint brushes that made the work easier and faster for us . When we got tired, we took a break and fried some plums that her mum had bought for us the previous day and we continued with our work after eating

We finished painting at about 6:pm in the evening, we looked at the work we had done and felt so satisfied and pleased with ourselves that we were able to do what is normally associated only to men in our society, her mother and father appreciated the work we had done also.

At this moment, we were so tired, we left and had our bath and later on, we assembled in the parlor where we washed a movie online on my friends phone since there was no cable. When it got finished, we prayed together and retired to bed.

That is how my day was spent
