In my previous post, I listed out the advantages and disadvantages of Web 3.0. For advantages, I mention the aspect of transparency, creation of a single profile, ability of AI data processing, privacy and data control, etc. With all these advantages, Web 3.0 still has challenges such as: taking off-web 1.0 from the internet space, reluctance in adoption, requirement of advanced devices, complications on the use of functionality, etc. As I end the last post, I will be bringing out some points about why no matter the challenges.

Importances for the Future
Web 3.0 platforms are driven by the ability of users to be able to generate content(creator-driven). It is a system for users and designed for users. In the coming years, users will take control of the internet space. Here are some of the reasons why I see web3.0 giving that playground.
- Better search assistance powered by AI
AI is one of the core layers of Web 3.0, which I did mention in my previous post. As the demand for a faster and more accurate result is needed by the user, the is a need for an intelligent, and pervasive tool. Web 3.0 which is powered by semantics, blockchain, and AI is the best humanized digital search assistant for internet users.
- Reduced dependency on intermediaries
The intermediaries business will be taken off the market, and value given directly to customers and network providers. Network problems will be handled by all users on the network through mutual ownership and governance.
- Rise in peer-to-peer connectivity
Peer-to-peer connectivity is the most secure means of sharing data keeping the system robust. At this level humans, organizations and machines will be able to manage huge data without fear of security lead. Web 3.0 will be able to maintain the privacy and security of data with peer-to-peer connectivity.
- More personalized interactions
As More users try to prioritize, customized, and individualize their interactions on the internet, web 3.0 important will be increasingly needed.
- Less reliance on a centralized server
The use of blockchain technology will eliminate the one data storage as in web 2.0, Meaning web 3.0 data will be diverse into different sources giving hackers a difficult time. The situation of leads and failure of a single server will be avoided, which will always be a way to wipe off user digital footprints. Given that users will use data scarcity and tokenized digital assets, Users will have total control over their data and footprints on the internet. With web 3.0, no company will be accused of data usage as in the case with web2.0.
Examples
So with all these aspects, it is with no thought that web 3.0 is around and has come to stay. I will list examples of web 3.0 applications.
- Apple's Siri
Users of Apple devices are familiar with the voice recognition software integrated into their devices. Apple's Siri is a key component of web3.0 technology as information is shared through linked blooks. At first Apple's Siri could do simple tasks like reminders, and location directions, but the software can help search results that include how, why and what queries. Siri
- Steemit
We are all familiar with and have been part of the platform. As we all know and as introduced to most of us, Steemit is a social blogging network website built on a decentralized platform that runs on the steem blockchain. Steemit takes the social media model to reward content creators with cryptocurrencies (STEEM, SBD, and TROX) for creating content on the platform. Steemit is a full concept implementation of web 3.0 as the platform pay's its users' cryptocurrencies. Steemit
- Everledger
Everledger is a banking and insurance system online, which is an example of web 3.0. Everledger allows its users to store their data digitally and can access it anywhere and at any time. With the encrypted nature of data on the blockchain, user data security is ensured and protected. Everledger reduces the risk of theft of user data. Everledger

So with this need for the Future of the internet, Web 3.0 is the ultimate solution that is already around and in use. My series on the web will not end, I will do more understanding between web3.0 and blockchain and share it in my next post. Steemit is not only a rewarding platform but also a learning opportunity for me.
Cheers
