A good design will work so well when applied to a website, with elements like navigation, working links, grammar, font, spelling, and images. Concise in page format is important, making sure you apply color and graphics. All these elements will present your website on good footing for a start.

One thing I will love to point out here is that web pages of a website are not the layout design, though somehow we can look at it to be. The layout is how the elements (image, text, navigation, color are positioned and used on the page. Some designers will decide their layout with CSS, which has been used for fonts, colors, and other styles. The interesting part about CSS, it helps manage these elements across the website which helps to save time when making changes. Learning how to work with CSS will aid in working with RWD(Responsive Web Design), which is used to change the layout.

• 2. Fonts and Typography

Fonts are the look of text on a webpage, which are been used to pass information to visitors. So when looking at doing a design, how your text will look is something to consider. You will be looking at text position, font type, font size, and shape of the text on both micro-level and macro-level. It looks easy, but I will tell you it is not that simple to pick the right fronts and tips for your text for your design. If you happen to have the right one, it will help you get started.

Managing colors is the key, and we have color everywhere starting from how we see things to how we dress them up. Color is the main element in the design as it is just not about red and blue. For a website to pick the brand identity, we have to care and best use the color scheme to flow on the pages. So picking the color scheme for the web design is as important as the front text, so need to consider carefully when selecting the color scheme for design.

Visitors get spit off when they get to broken links, and will not be able to keep them on the site. Keeping visitors on your site and taking action should be your goal by offering friendly navigation and inline links.
