Steemit Engagement Challenge S8-W5 | My Parents, My Heroes
Parenthood is a gift from our heavenly father, having a child is one of the greatest joy parent had. I could recall the tears of joy that drip out from my eyes when I had a baby, I was so happy carrying her in my arms. But you know what? There is more to that joy, no one understands what it takes to be parents until you are one, the sleepless nights, the mental stress when your child is not in good health, the hustle and things you sacrifice to be sure you provide your child needs. Let's see what parenthood really involves.
Parenthood is a stage in life that one need to embrace with love and get ready to adjust to whatever responsibility this comes with. And when you may think involves providing the child with food, clothing, shelter, and health care, responsible parenthood involves much more than that, it also involves teaching your little ones how to read and write, teaching them the moral principles by which to live. You become a teacher as you educate them in all aspects of life because you are the first person they trust as they came to life. Parenthood also involves years of self-sacrifice, it is a big investment in time and energy you welcome all this with love and carry out your duty effectively as parent.
I never knew all this until few days ago when I became a mother, that's when I understand the joy of parenthood involves more to what we think. Ignoring your pains to meet your children needs, a whole lot of sacrifice to raise a child. I'm happy to share in this joy and I pray for more strength to bring up my child in a way she will grow up and appreciate her maker.
As I get up, we did everything together, we play eat and perform some tasks at home together. I learnt from them during this times. They never fail to give us their attention, all their time is spent on hustling to meet up for our needs. I could remember how they were once restless as they didn't have money for sisters project, I wish I could have helped as I saw my mum with tears but I couldn't because I was also in school, all this sacrifices made them superhero.
I learn how to care for my baby from my parents
My parents are very important to me as there is no one that can love you as your parents, their love is special and genuine. They are patient, kind, loving, supportive, generous, hardworking etc. Seeing my dad supporting my mum in every aspect of life teaches me a good lesson, also seeing their love and respect for each other helps me now in my own home with my hubby and child. I've been able to embrace my responsibilities and continue being submissive in my home this boost our bonding together.
All thanks to my parents for their love and good training.
Learning begins from infancy
The major role of parents is to provide for their children, this includes everything including training their children, this training involves a lot of things like I mentioned above. Parents are their children teacher from infant, they teach their children everything they need to learn even before going to school. I could recall how my parents teaches me everything I know how to do now, I learn how to read and write, basic house chores, good moral standards and some principles I need to live with to be successful in life. I also watch them do everything in life and learn from them, do you know I also learihiw to take care of my newborn baby from my month last month?
Educating a child when it comes to parents doesn't have a time limit they never hesitate to teach us irrespective of our age, they have more experience than us ans as such they remain our role model.
When I began parenting journey
No I never see it as a scam, think of this illustration a pair of inexperienced skaters will need time and patience to find their balance on the ice, same with parenthood, one need time to adjust to your new roles as parents. So whatever you see in parenthood it's never a scam, it helps me have confidence in myself, it gives me the opportunity to develop valuable qualities in life. It helps me be less self-centered, more loving and understanding. This has really helped me in our home of parenting.
I never knew childrearing will test my commitment to my marriage and forever change my relationship with each other, ahh!! irrespective of this we welcome our parenthood responsibility with joy.

@eliany, Surely first you have to have a child to know and feel the happiness of having him in our arms.
It is already a new beginning in our lives, where changes come that we must make and sacrifices to be able to give our children a good upbringing.
The first months of children's lives are very hard for mothers because, as you say, sleepless nights and some are born with health problems, which further increases the stress on parents.
Although no stress or worry can be more than the joy of seeing your child's smile when you begin to take your first steps in life.
True what you say parental love is special and genuine your parents did everything humanly possible to meet your basic needs and desires during your childhood.
Today they deserve the honor of being called heroes since they gave the best years of their lives for their children.
That reminds me when I married my wife and my first child was born, I was happy, although due to my immaturity I didn't quite understand the great responsibility of being a father.
After two years I had to make many changes in my life, stop going to a party and go out with friends since I had to dedicate myself to my wife and my first child.
Finally, being a father has nothing to do with fraud, it is a good responsibility that we have in our hands to give our best to raise our children.

Yes you're right and you explained the really good definition of parenthood and parents are the gift for us and they did so much hardwork for us and they have some other major responsibility but they take care of thier childrens and parents don't did any type of scam.

The sincerity and nobility of parents in educating and maintaining the health of their children deserves a thumbs up because it is an act that does not expect to be rewarded with money ,
