INTRODUCTION

Greetings to all my beautiful and handsome friends of this amazing community, happy new month to you all, i trust you're all doing fine and enjoying you new month.

I'm so happy to be a part of this contest in @steem-cameroon community and the theme is National or International Awareness Day.
In this post i will be discussing about International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict by answering the contest questions.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE DAY?

The international day for Preventing the exploitation of the environment in war and armed Conflict is an international day that is always observed in 6th November of every year(annually).

And it was established on the 5th of November 2001 by the united nations General assembly when Kofi Atta Annan's was a Secretary General.

WHAT DO YOU UNDERSTAND BY WAR AND ARMED CONFLICT

WAR

A war in my own understanding can be define as a armed Conflict between countries, states or Communities that fight and kill each other using weapons

ARMED CONFLICT

In my own understanding, Armed conflict is when two or more countries, states or any organization fight each other with the used of the military force.

IS YOUR COMMUNITY FACING ANY FORM OF WAR OR ARMED CONFLICT

No, they are not facing any war or armed Conflict.
My community in Etinan local government area in Nigeria was facing war with the neighboring community last month because of a common palm Fruits, dragging telling each other that it was their own turn to harvest it.

That was how the fight started and it lasted for one whole week, but at the end five people died twelve people were arrested, and the rest of the youth in that neighboring community ran out from their village because there were the one that started the fight.

HOW DO YOU OR YOUR COUNTRY WORK TOWARDS THE EXPLOITATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT DURING WAR AND ARMED CONFLICT

During the crises i called the nearby police so that they can come and at least help make the war calm, but the police did not come.
And all those troublesome people in my community i always report them to the village head anytime the make trouble with the neighboring community so that they will punish thrm snd by doing so they will stop looking for trouble and the community will be in peace.

During that war the community leaders also reported the issue to the government, and they sent an army patrol to the community and they came and make the war subside, and they also open a new police base in the neighboring community and because of that we have been in peace since then.
