Hello friends, how are you all doing today, i hope you're all doing well.
It's my pleasure to participate in this interesting contest in this @steem-cameroon community, and the theme of the contest is National or International Awareness Day.
In today's post i will be discussing about the International Anti-Corruption Day by following the contest tips

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION DAY?

Corruption is a global threat we are facing nowadays. It is a very big problem to economic development.
Corruption is one of the greatest challenges in our globalized and interconnected world, because everyday a lot of money are being paid to people in one way or the other as bribes, just so that they can achieve their desires.

The International Anti-Corruption Day 9th December, is a day that was designed by the assembly to raise awareness of corruption and also the role of convention in combating and preventing it.

HOW DO YOU OR YOUR COUNTRY OR YOUR ORGANIZATION CELEBRATE THE DAY?

In my country Nigeria we celebrate International Anti-Corruption day by declaring that particular day which is December 9th as a public holiday and all the government work won't be held that particular day.

And i personally also celebrate this day by posting and writing about it in the social medias lik Facebook, Whatsapp etc.

WHAT IMPACT DOES YOUR COMMUNITY GAIN DURING AND AFTER THE COMMEMORATION

The Commemoration day always have a huge impact in my country, to the extent that during that Commemoration day even though the police stop you on the road because you don't have a fire extinguisher or your vehicle papers is not complete, even though you offer them money so that they will release you and allow you to pass, they won't collect because the Commemoration day, some might even think that you want to set them up, Lol.

WHAT ISSUE OR CONCERN WILL YOU RECOMMEND TO BE COMMEMORATED THIS WEEK AND ON WHAT DATE?

I would like to recommend December 10th as international world remembrance day, so that it will be use in remembering all our love ones who died.
