The Diary Game 3: BetterLife with Steem (08/11/2022)
Greetings dear friends on the steemit platform. It is another opportunity for me to share how my daily activities went through on 8th of November, 2022. Remember it’s Tuesday and a busy day in my location as work resumes fully after Monday ghost town.
The weather was cold and places were calm when I got up from bed. All activities resumes for the week on this particular day since Monday was observed as ghost town. I had to prepare my daughter for school. Before I wake up, my husband had already heated water to bath her. I had to prepare breakfast and her lunch pack. I went to the kitchen to prepare tea for her to take as breakfast but she refused and requested for noddles.
I immediately checked and there was no noddles at home. I decided to go to a nearby store to buy the noddles. On my way to the store, I noticed that the roads were not yet busy but it was certain that by 7:00 AM, traffic will be terrible. I bought the noddles and returned back home at about 6:50 am.
Along the way, going to the store to purchase noddles for my daughter’s breakfast.
The road were still empty and you could see few bikes and taxis. By 7:00 AM, the traffic on this stretch of road was terrible.
I came back home and went to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast. It does not take much time to get ready. I used about 5 minutes to prepare it and served her breakfast. She loves it and I will not stress feeding her. When it is noddles, my daughter will remind me that she is a big girl and can eat by herself.
My work life is so good as my work is flexible. I can work at any moment I want and most often online. I took my bath after my husband left with my daughter. I had to prepare lunch first before doing any other work. I prepared rice and tomatoes sauce with pork.
In the afternoon period, I had to start identifying enumerators for the project I am the consultant with Oversee Advising Group (OAG). It is a UNDP project and we needed to identify enumerators to train them for data collection. By 2:00 PM, I was done with OAG work and had to rest for a while.
My husband came in at about 3:00PM to drop our daughter from school. I served them lunch and also fed my son whom got up from siesta.
Later on, I had my office work to do, I immediately switched on my laptop and go through some files and did some reports. There was not much to be done and I had to prepared a contest on “emergency care: payment before treatment”.
In the evening hours when I was done with the contest, I had to follow an exclusive interview on Canal2 International with Samuel Eto’o. This dude has transformed the football federation in Cameroon within a shorter time. I wish more youths are given the opportunity to change things in this country.

I followed the interview till around midnight. I had to check steemworld.org to check on voting manna of the SC08 account to know when the account VP will be fully charged. I did this because I was to curate the next day. After checking, I went to bed and call it a day.

I think what our leaders fail to see, ignore or don't care about is the fact that the brightness of the future of this nation is in the hands of the youths. I pray more youths get the courage to dare.
