Hello, hope all is well. Welcome to my post about green deeds - more specifically walking and cycling.

How often do I walk or cycle?

I have never cycled, I don't know how.
Well, I for one love to walk and most at times, I prefer walking to my destination rather than taking bike or a taxi. But don't take it the wrong way, I walk depending on the distance. If the distance is quite far I will rather take a bike or a taxi but when the distance is not far I prefer to walk.

I took 30651 steps last week and have already taken 361 steps today.

Where do you walk or cycle to?

I usually walk to a store to buy groceries, walk to a friend's house to chill, walk to the basketball court, walk to the farm or basically walk to any place that doesn't have a long distance.

How many minutes or hours do walk per week?

According to the LifeLog application on my phone, I walk an average of 22 minutes per day in a week.

Are you aware walking or cycling contributes in the fight against climate change?

Yes, I am and it is for this reason that I make sure to walk for at least 15 minutes per day and to use cars or bikes only when necessary.

Are there any socio-economic or health benefits I get from walking or cycling?

Yes, there are so many health benefits I get from walking. Some of the benefits include;
-an increase in my stamina when I play basketball,
-it also helps me to be more flexible physically,
-it helps with my breathing.

There are also a number of socio-economic benefits of walking and cycling which includes;

-Save Money that might be used for transportation.
-The healthier we are, the less medical bills we pay.
-Money which is used for parking of vehicles is saved.

I could keep naming the benefits but like we all know, they are quite plenty.

The advantages of walking are so enormous as you've rightly said and it's important we exercise it often to keep ourselves safe and our environment as well.

I can see the benefits you get from constantly walking and I can testify to it. Your metabolism must be very active and fast due to this. Keep up.

BTW the name of the app is LifeLog and it is found on playstore.
It not just measures ur steps but also, records sleep and many more. It is a pretty cool app

Aight @benjamin09 thanks I'll surely download that. Infact it's already downloaded 😂 the part for record sleep might be useless. I virtually don't sleep😂😂
