And I am going to share how this crop has been playing a role in our life. Hope you like it. And yes I am talking about mustard fields. As Bangladesh is a major agricultural country, about 80% of the people of this country are involved in agricultural work. Different types of crops are grown in Bangladesh, some of the notable crops are paddy, jute, mustard and wheat. These fruits are one of the most popular crops in Bangladesh.A very popular and notable crop is mustard.This crop is cultivated the most in some districts including Kushtia, Jessore, Barisal, Manikganj, mustard is cultivated more in these districts. This is the reason why this mustard is more popular among the people of my village. It does not cost a lot of money to grow it.Mustard seeds germinate at least within 5 days of planting in the field.And after the seedling grows, there is no need for any type of sedge insecticide in the mustard field. In this case, not many insects attack.Mustard field does not require any kind of fertilizer. |

After 10 days of planting this mustard, only the weeds of the mustard field have to be cleaned. Mustard flowers within 30 days of planting. And it takes another 15 days to turn from flower to mustard. And within 60 days of planting mustard, mustard is ready to take home from the field i.e. mustard field is ripe. And for this reason, mustard fields are very popular among the people of Bangladesh because mustard can be cultivated at a very low cost.And the yield of mustard is very good if cultivated in this way.Now let's find out why mustard is so popular among the farmers of Bangladesh.
