THE DIARY GAME (04/08/2020) || FAITH'S DAY 4 DIARY ENTRY

Hi guys, it had been so awesome reading diary post of several steemians. And i am delighted to enter for my 4th diary in this season 2 diary game.

Dear diary
Today i did not go out, and i did not do much. Basically i woke up at around 6am Nigeria time, i said my prayers and was ready for the day. I had a little gist with my friend talking about some personal issues and trying to device a means of solutions. After that we saw a movie. She has been telling me about this movie for a long time, so i decided to watch it today although i am not the movie type.
The movie is titled Breakthrough. It was a real life story that was acted. It is a christian movie.
The movie was talking about a couple (Brian and Joyce) that adopted a son(John) while he was 9 months old. But then John had grown up, was in collage and also a good basket ball player. They were all believers; but then Joyce hated her new pastor because of his haircut. Joyce had this arrogant and dominiary attitude, there was nothing her pastor does that pleases her.
In one of the occasions, John had visited a friend and they were to spend the weekend together. On this faithful day, John had gone to play with two of his friends. The whole place was covered with snow. While playing, there is a lake around the house, but the top of the lake had been blocked and became ice. The boys decided to play on top of the ice. Although been warned of a neighbour to desert the lake, they refused and decided to stay. While playing and running around on the ice, immediately the ice broke and the three boys fell inside the lake. They were able to swim out to the edge of the ice, then with the help of some security guards, the other two boys were rescued but John sank into the lake. As God may have it, after 45 minutes of search, John's body was discovered miraculously. John was taken to the hospital and every attempt to revive John was fruitless. The doctors did everything to get a pulse which was not forth coming. At a point, the doctors got fade up and concluded that John was not going to make it back to life. Not until John's mum showed up and prayed, John came back to life but was still in coma.
John was transfered to another specialist hospital that the doctor was known to be a world class doctor. Every attempt of treatment was fruitless that the doctor gave up on John, but Joyce strongly had faith in God that John was going to live. She stopped everyone including the doctors from making negative confessions about John's situation. Brian gave up on John, but her pastor stood by her. At a point, the doctors decided to remove all the equipments on John's body because they were now causing more harm than good. Joyce brought the option of waking John up by him fighting for his life. The night before then, everyone prayed earnestly for John. At the end, John fought for his life with the help of his mum, defiled every medical report and John came back to life.
Let me end the review here, i know you enjoyed it. The movie is so inspiring, you can go check it out BREAKTHROUGH.

After the movie i decided to read this book down here in the picture, titled The Presence And Work Of The Holy Spirit By R A Torrey

Though i did not finish the book; it was talking about the person of the Holy Spirit and the effect of his presence in our lives as believers. It defined that the Holy Spirit is a person(the third person in trinity) and not a thing or a force. He can talk to us and we can talk back to him. He is our comforter. He is our helper, He is ever ready to help even when it seems like all hope is gone. He is closer to us than we can think. And guess what, He lives in our heart. Just yield yourself to him and you will see his manifestation.
Let me end the review here.

After my reading i made launch; no breakfast today. So i made jealouf rice, sorry i didn't capture that part. After eating, i chatted a while and my phone went off due to poor power supply. So i decided to catch some sleep afterwards. Only to wake up late in the evening, took my dinner and retired for the day, but had to wait until there was light before making this post late in the night.
