The diary game : 05/08/2020 A section for online course and helped my mum with her work.

Hey people

It is another wonderful day. I am alive and healthy. And that’s enough to be happy. I started my day just like any other day. As the first girl and the firstborn of the house, I have many responsibilities to do. I woke up in the morning late because I slept late yesternight. Most of the time, I used to wake up 5:30 Am, but today was 7 am. So, I started by having my prayers before my house chores and it took me over one hour to finish everything. I did some sweeping, mopping and cleaning. Immediately after that, I started cooking for my family and everybody ate. We ate beans and pap for breakfast.

I am taking a short online course so I used the time after breakfast to take the class. It is about blockchain technology and its application. The course has been entertaining and educative.

After that, I helped my mum to do part of the project she’s working on. It is a project from her office and it is up to a thousand pages and I started typing around 11 am and I typed for up to 5 hrs. I asked her if her Boss would give her extra pay for the work, but she said no, and I was like-- "Are you kidding me"?

I got tired of typing and I decided to rest a bit and do some social media feeding. While I was checking my Facebook account, I slept off.

My rest was interrupted by my brother that woke me up around 6:30. I went out to fetch water with my siblings for the house. After that, I and my mum prepared the evening meal of jollof rice.

The food got ready around 8 pm. I dished the food for the family and everybody ate.

It was not one special day, but it is still a day to thank God for being alive.
