THE DIARY GAME: 04/08/2020: Wash Day And Running Errands On A Hot And Sunny Day!

Dear Diary
Today was a beautiful day the sun was so hot and so bright.
I woke up at about 7 AM this morning my sister is always trying to raise the curtains every morning and she woke me up this time. I couldn’t get up as usual because the sleep was so interesting.(you know?)
I stayed on my bed and said a little prayer and then got up drank water used the bathroom and stretched out my body.

I had to do laundry today because I like washing a very few things, I can’t stand washing so many clothes at the same time.
First of all, I had to remove them from the laundry basket, separate bright colors from darker ones and then soak them for about 20minutes before washing.
Soaking just makes it easier for stains to come out and helps me to save my energy from scrubbing for too long.
Afterward, I rinsed them and went to the lines in my backyard to dry them.

Walking out of the house was hard because the sun today was almost 35degress high. I summoned courage and went out to squeeze and dry the clothes.
Came back to the house and had my bath before having breakfast.

For breakfast, I had porridge beans and garri (made from cassava roots) after having breakfast I felt like sleeping but I remembered I had my blanket to make and so I continued crocheting till afternoon.

At about 2:30pm my dad asked me to help send both his new and old phone to a phone shop for his contacts to be transferred to the new one and for his SIM card to be converted to nano sized chip.
Everyone asked him to upgrade and he listened.

This was the peak of the sun, all I wanted to do was to get there get it done and run back home.
Luckily for me the phone expert was free and it made it easier for me to get back home on time.

Got back home tired but couldn’t sleep because it was so hot, and so I continued with my crochet and later helped my dad learn how to operate his new phone.
In the evening, the sun was down and the clothes were dry, brought them back inside the house.
Had dinner, took a shower and am on my bed now.
