SEC-S7W3 – Drawing my photo- "Haven of Dysart" with Soft pastel
Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to share my idea to the Challenge that is organised by Steem Venezuela Community and invite you to take part too, here is the link to the post:

We live in a small town on the coast of North Sea, from the form of the town it is stretched along the coast. That is why we have a long coastal path that is connecting many little towns going from Edinburgh up to the Northern part of Scotland.
During normal working week, in order to get some fresh air and to be away from street, we love to walk along the coast. The good thing is the next haven is very close, just right for a small walk. It usually takes us 30 minute one way and also we have to go through a big park too.
The final destination of it is a small fishermen village called Dysart. They have still well functioning harbour, many fishermen boats, sailing boats and motor boats are there parking during low tide and are out on sea during day.
In autumn, many local people repairing their boats, refreshing their paints, that is very noticeable once you are there. I like to see the people who are there, chatting, telling the stories and smoking their pipes. That always reminds me the adventure books that I read when I was a child.
From our side, we love to be in this little village because of beautiful boats. This time there was very unusual wooden boat with colourful fenders, it was just asking to be photographed but also it was like the boat was asking to be drawn that is why I decided to do this drawing of a little colourful boat in a haven of Dysart.
When I was thinking what to use for drawing, I thought about graphite pencil and to do black and white. But on other hand, the whole beauty of boat was the colourful fenders and it is a shame not to include them. Therefore, I decided to use pastel pencils and chalks and a drawing paper of A3 format.
The photo is done by my hubby @myskye. Hope you enjoyed the drawing and the photo.
Wow ha realizado una espléndida presentación. Me encantó la técnica que uso con las tizas pastel. Le cuento que también me gusta los efectos que ellas producen y tal vez realice algunos dibujos con ellas.
Es súper el parecido con su foto original.
El paisaje es hermoso,leer su descripción me ha hecho trasladarme a ese sitio el cual traslado al paraíso de Dysart.

Thank you Jessica for lovely comment to my drawing. The place is indeed beautiful, every time we are there it is different, therefore, we have so many photos of the place. It is very old place, was established in 13th century. Still it is one of the beautiful haven here locally :)

Thank you Victor, pastel can easily get messy, that is why need to be very careful, but the result is better than colourful pencils.
