Sometimes I just sit back and wonder if it’s only me that thinks about these kinds of things. Life these days is not balanced — people are always arguing, tension everywhere, and everybody is just trying to prove that they are wiser. But if we take things easy, and look at things from a different perspective, maybe we can see say there’s still hope and meaning inside this whole confusion.

For this contest, I’ll be answering the four questions sincerely. I’ll speak from my heart, blend my own experience, and tell it as it should be.

To those who think this is the worst time in history

When you look at the world today, it’s easy to believe that this is the worst time that has ever happened. Things are hard. Everywhere you turn; war, hunger, joblessness, even AI threatens our future, and people just walk around with heavy heart. But truth be told, this is not even close to the worst.

Imagine living in a time when people were sold like yam in market. Or during the world wars — when bombs were falling anyhow, people were dying anyhow, no medicine, no social media to even express your pain. That time was not easy.

Today is a little bit better. We have access to education, information, technology. We can speak out, we can challenge bad governance, even though some people still try shut us up. We are seeing progress, even if it may seem slow. It is the small wins that form better future.

So if you think now is the worst time ever, just pause and reflect. Yes, its tough, but compared to what people had survived before, we are still lucky in some ways. Let us use the challenges to push change, not give up.

To the leaders and individuals who believe themselves to be indispensable

Looking at those people that feel like without them nothing can move? Life has its ways of turning things around. Nobody has the monopoly of relevance. If you fall today, the world would not stop because of you.

Some leaders hold position feeling like god. No training, no mentoring, they do not even groom anybody to take over. They just sit down there and do what they like, feeling that only their brain dey useful. But forgetting that when they leave, things will still continue. People will adjust, systems will adapt.

Even in families, some parents act like they will always have the final say forever. But it is not so. Everybody deserves a voice, and leadership is supposed to be service, not a show of power.

I know of a man who always bragged saying that without him, the office would collapse. When he finally resigned, the team performed even better. That type of humility humbles people very well.

So if you dey think say you’re too important to be replaced, think twice. Give others a chance. Share knowledge. Because if you go tomorrow, life will still move, and the only thing people will remember is how you treat them.

To a person you trust whose partner has been unfaithful

This is not a small matter. When someone you trust betrays your love, it cuts deep. It can scatter a persons mind, it can make you question your worth. But first of all, do not blame yourself. They are the ones that messed up, not you.

Heartbreak can make a person do things they didn't believe they could do. You can cry for days, lose appetite, delete chats, block and unblock. But after the pain, you will rise again.

Forgiveness is not by force, and even if you forgive, it may not necessarily mean you should forget or go back. Sometimes you just need to heal and move on. Protect your peace. Find yourself again.

I have a friend that suffered from heartbreak. The lady broke his heart for no reason. For months, he was emotionless like a zombie. But today, he has moved on, found someone who loves and respects him, and he is happy again. Life should not end because of breakup.

So I would tell you this — take your time to heal. Cry if you must, but don’t stay there too long. The person that will value and respect you is still somewhere. Do not lose yourself because of a person that doesn't know your worth.

To those who claim that artificial intelligence can wipe out humanity

People fear AI like a monster that can swallow the world. Yes, I agree that AI is powerful, but let's calm down a bit and look at it again. The real danger is not AI itself — it is those that control it.

AI is a tool, like every other technology. A knife can cut meat, but can cause harm to a person too. Same with AI — if good people handles it, it can do wonders. If bad people take control over it, it would cause trouble.

We are supposed to focus on proper regulation. The Government need to step in, set boundaries, guide usage. We need education for people for people to know how to use AI positively. So there is no need to panic.

Even as an engineering student, I know that machines don't have conscience. They are programmed. It is human that gives the command. So let’s fix ourselves before we blame AI.

At the end of the day, machines can never fit replace human heart. It cannot show love, it cannot express emotions like we. So let us embrace the future with wisdom, not fear. Because whether we like it or not, AI has come to stay — we just need to manage it well.

Final Words

Life is not perfect, and it will never be perfect. But with all the chaos, we still have hope, love, family, small joy here and there. The world has not ended, and this generation still has the power to rewrite the story.

I hope that as you read this, you were touched. These questions dig deep, and I am happy that I can express my mind. There is no need to pretend to be perfect to share the truth. Just say it the way you feel it.

Let’s continue to live with sense, love with intention, and treat each other well. Because that is how you build a better world— one small action at a time.
