It is interesting how we just got past the 1st and 2nd engagement contests, it's very funny how time flies. This is the third engagement contest and I see it fit to begin my participation in the ongoing contest in this community.
The dairy game has been a great initiative for me, my experience with this initiative is so interesting that I can't trade it for anything, I had a little setback as to how the platform is been used, my Introduction to this platform wasn't physical although @vhenom explained everything but his explanation wasn't comprehensive enough and besides he was also a newbie too with little understanding, so I had to find answers for myself, I made entries in contest with little understanding without following the contest rules and also not using the right tags and I realize I wasn't supported, one day I was exploring some of the community in the platform, such that if I find a community suitable for me, I subscribe immediately until I subscribed in the community named steemalive.
In one of their pinned post back then, I read the community requirements and I added them through a link left at the end of the post. The link redirected me to the community WhatsApp and discord group, it was there I knew all the necessary things needed to know about the platform
Steemalive has a telegram group mainly for teaching, named (steemalive classroom) whereby we were been taught every necessary information we need to know, We were taught the need to use the right tags, markdown style, and the kind of post that will attract support, in this classroom the admins motivate us and gives us several hint and tips on what and what to do that will lead to support.
Steemalive is a community that represents the 3 Rs of the community, they recruit, retain, and reward users, I made a lot of diary games in this community after I did my achievement 1 post, the diary game was the only thing I could do then, I didn't find it stressful as I always love to write my diary. I was supported countless times by submitting most of my daily diary articles for an upvote, the feeling of being upvoted after making a post is so wonderful.
I never stopped posting my dairy till today, even if I don't find support on my post, I will always write my dairy, we have been informed that support is not guaranteed on this platform, the curators owe nobody support, so I work without expectations so that I won't be disappointed and if I was supported it was always a surprise to me.
The advantages of the diary games are many, ever since I have been writing the diary game, I have met new people around the world, and I have seen places in pictures, statue, flowers, foods and many more that I never taught I could ever see.
I have learned things about people, and their day-to-day activities, most time I love reading the food dairy, I can make different traditional dishes as a result of the food dairy post user make and the procedure are made known to readers.
The day game has enhanced my writing skill, before I started writing in the crypto academy class, the dairy game has helped me by not feeling reluctant of wanting to write. And before then I made sure I step up my writing in every diary I post on steemit
It is also helping me in vocabulary, I am a silent reader on the Steemit platform before, but this engagement contest made me realize the need to engage with others, there are certain author that I respect so much as regard their writing skills and vocabularies , I read every dairy post of authors like professors Kouba, Fredquantum, reminiscene, sapwood, and Dr quma, these authors are good writers with good vocabularies that I emulate when trying to write anything on the platform as such I add few vocabularies learned from them to my diary.
I wasn't a fan of photography all this while, my shots are poor, as I engage more in the dairy game, it boost the skill of photography in me, I made sure I give my pictures a perfect and sharp shot to make my writing descriptions clear to readers.
Thanks to the dairy game I have known how to make a perfect thumbnail and my graphic design skill are top-notch.
The fact that the diary game exposes someone's lifestyle, the platform is decentralized and everybody is free to analyze your post as such it could lead to monitoring of the user's lifestyle if needed. And remember this initiative is optional, we are not been forced to participate.
It requires deep thinking to compose your message and correlate it with your image, the need to capture every activity requires energy and a lot of time, sometimes I forget to take images of my activities. Those times I might have been tired from taking different pictures, so the dairy is somehow tiresome
The daily dairy activities often repeat themselves sometimes, in a week I might just brush, bath, eat and sleep for like 2 or 3 days, so the day-to-day activities didn't change, so it will be boring to make such a repetitive post
I have been privileged to invite @meeyah @rad-austine to write the diary game, we all have a different interests when it comes to making posts, as some don't like revealing their identity but I make sure I invite every user I introduce to the platform to participate in the dairy game including the old user that got tired maybe as a result of a reason best known to known to them.
In conclusion, It is at our advantage to participate in the dairy game, it will be so selfish of me if I don't invite @ochang @ladyofpolicy @rad-austine @dbiss to participate in the ongoing contest.
You are right my friend, the dairy game helps us to meet new people worldwide and it also help us to know more about peoples life style.

Your post is truly true, not a fan of the diary game, but I do know steemalive is an outstanding community they really take engagement and mentoring seriously, I really thank them for help us all, from what you have said I will try to write one very soon.
Being mentored by steemalive made me all I am today.
They've really tried in the aspect of mentoring and engagement. I remember one of the group that still exist, it called gpp(group post promotion), you have to engage in two if the last link dropped in the group before you are allow to drop yours, engagement has been existing btw steemalive member from the onset.
