Love for What I Do

Hello friends, I am a business woman, I sell onions in bags, that is selling wholesales, apart from blogging in steemit this is what I do to train my four kids in school and I have been in the business for over 6 years now.

Though doing business is not easy because there is ups and downs, no matter how perfect you may be, there must be some challenges.

My day started with a early phone call that my goods that I have been long expected has arrived, this goods has been on the road for over a week plus and this are perishable goods, so I don't know what happened because we supposed to offload 3 days after loading but everyday we call to find out what happens, the driver number won't be going
So when I received the phone call around 6am that the truck arrives the previous night, I was happy that finally it has arrived, so I hurriedly took my bath, dress up and I call my bus driver to come of the venue we are to offload , reaching there the truck was there and I waited for my turn to offload my goods, so I pay the driver and my goods was transload to my bus.

How I do my business is supply, I don't have a shop so when ever my goods arrive I will deliver it to my customers in their different business places and this day was not a different day, so I started delivering them to my customers and I was able to finish supplying before 1pm.

So my driver took me back to my house, reaching my house phone rang and I checked it was one of my customers that called that I should come back that my goods are bad, so turn back and reaching there the onions were really bad, before I knew all other of my customers complained of the same thing and I was devastated but at the same time what should I do, nothing that to take them to my house and sort out the good ones from the bad ones.

Though I am still grateful to God because days I have gained is hundred percent better than the ones I have lost.

This is a business I start in 5th of July 2019, with the sum of 28500 NAIRA approximately 142.5 steem, then a bag of onions was just 9500 NAIRA so I started with 3 bags for a start and to the glory of God I am still in the business uptill this moment and as for December last year a bag of onions was 350,000 naira per bag and now it has drop to 65,000 to 60,000 naira per small bag, this is the business that has kept me going and I am able to train my kids through school, right now two of my kids are in the university and two are in secondary school and every day I see myself growing with the business.

I am so proud of what I do and I am not giving up, what happened recently was just a test and I know the fault was from the driver, so right now I believe I will be to get back at least half of my money and in the space of 2 to 3 months I will recover my losses.

In this business I have introduced it to so many of my friends that didn't have anything doing and right now they are very grateful that I introduced them to the business, they are always grateful to me and I am happy they are gaining.
So I do much love what I do, though my friends try to discourage me when I started newly that is a dirty business and I thank God then I didn't listen to them. So now I don't send for three bags, I send from 15 bags and above and I believe with time I will be sending from 50 bags and above. My business is my pride and I love it so much
