Steemit Engagement Challenge: My experience with The Diary Game by @maazmoid123
What is a diary? Why do people write a diary? And Why did the Steemit Team encourage us to write in a diary game? People write their diaries to talk to themselves. Some people write their diary as they don't have any people or person near them to whom they can share their stories, some people write because they don't share their feeling and thoughts with anyone, some people write because they think if they share their thoughts, the people might make fun of them.
I always wanted to write my diary, I wanted to write my daily life, and I was the kind of person whom people used to laugh if I shared my thoughts with them, or maybe I used to tell the wrong people, but that was the difficult phase in my life. And that is why I wanted to be with myself, and that is how I became an introvert who has been wasting his life in the same house for 21 years.
I could never write my diary, as there was no privacy at my home. But after joining STEEMIT, when I started writing my diary, so it was also not keeping my "privacy" though, but I learned that writing a diary is not always about keeping it a secret; writing a diary is about "writing and sharing it with sensible person" so they can talk with you, they can share their story as well with you and have a significant interaction which improves your overall morale.
The question was, Why did the Steemit team encourage us to write in the Diary game 2 years ago. And the answer is, I guess, apparent. STEEMIT is a social media, and social media is called a social media when people are active there and got interested in each other. And the diary game was the perfect movie to get the people active on this platform. When I also started working in 2017, there were only some contests running at that time, and mostly the time I used to think about what I should write, and my mind used to be blank at that time.
The diary game has filled that gap and the gap in our lives, which we needed. My First ever participation was in the Steemalive community, and in that, I write about the things I did in a day, but if you see the post, you will know how immature of a writer I was.
And if you will see my last diary, you will know the growth I had in the platform and how this platform has helped me change positively. My English has improved, and my content writing skill has also improved.
I had an incredible journey in the diary game, as once I started to count my diaries number and got to know that I have written 130 Posts in the dairy continuously or maybe have gotten some breaks sometimes. And this counting is of a year ago, so definitely I would have crossed the mark of 300 diaries till now. Still, mostly I remember I used to write every other day.
The best part of those diaries is that my life and my experiences are saved on this platform, and maybe when I will be old one day, I will go through my every diary and look at my beautiful days. That will be a Great joy, I guess.
MY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE ON THIS PLATFORM
To be honest, my everyday was extraordinary when I wrote on this platform, as this is the only place where I can talk from my heart without being judged. And even if people read my blog and leave their comments, it just made my whole day. In my early days when the steemcurator01 used to upvote my posts, being selected in the top 5 posts in the Steemit Pakistan Community, and having comments from the people used to juggle up my mind. I used to tell my parents that they said has commented on my post.
Even now, when I receive any big upvote or receive comments, I share it with my parents that I have got that many comments on mine.
I don't think I have found some disadvantage in participating in the diary game, but the only thing which had a negative impact on my lifestyle was that even if I had a long tiring day and have come home late, I still would have made the post which impacted my night sleep a little like it is 2:00 AM right now and I have to participate in the engagement challenge and why I am here writing with my mind sleeping. But still, it also has a positivity hidden inside that, which is that I am learning the dedication, and it is also showing my motivation, I guess. And I know inshallah, in the end, it will all worth it.

I am totally agree with you dear 😊😊,the diary writing supposed to me it was personal or want privacy for that but after joining on steemit my thoughts 💭 were completely changes about daily diary
The diary game engaged us with our steemit friend I am also from Pakistan I read many diaries that you shared in community as a student you shared your whole day activities regarding university/college student life and flash back me in past when I was student 😊

I am sorry about how your family initally treated your shared innermost feelings which made you an introvert, but at the end, it worked for your good.

Actually those were my so called friends at school and that was the mistake I did that I didn't shared my feelings with my parents. But with time my parents gave confidence to me to talk to them and now they are my best friends who knows everything about me good and bad.
