SEC-S18-W3: "Letter to my father"
I will not write on paper. I'll write here. It's all out of my head.
Hello, Father.
I know you're going through a very difficult time right now. I know you drink too much. I just don't know what's causing it in you. I want you to share your problems with me and open up to others. Sadly, you're so self-absorbed, but I understand that life must have changed you so much. It wasn't easy before you had to raise two kids, me and my brother. I know you gave us enough, but at what cost? Is it because of these hard times that you are now?
You've been drinking alcohol since I can remember. You have hurt us many times too. You've been good many times, but there must be something in your head that brought you to this state. I've tried many times to help you, too. I wanted to take you to a psychologist, to therapy, you said You could handle it on your own, but unfortunately, it didn't happen. You should get help from someone, but I know who you are.
Despite what's happened over the years, I know you're a good person and I'm praying for you to clear your head. You are lost in this life. You need help. Don't be afraid to accept help from people. It's never too late to change. I'd like to be in your head for a day, then I'd know exactly what's wrong with you, even though I have a little bit of that in my life. Too much thinking and looking for a solution in alcohol. We are also too emotional, and in today's world, few people appreciate it and lack understanding. I think that's the problem. Remember, I'm always there to help you. I also need help from people, like everyone else, life is not easy but remember that you have the power to help you. You always have support for me and my brother.

Thanks for inviting me and telling us the story of your father. I can understand your concern for him but then everyone has their reasons. My father never ever even touched alcohol but he used to smoke until he was sixty. I have posted my letter.

Que mal la situacion que esta pasando en estos momento tu padre con el alcohol, tal vez es un hombre de los que piensa que no necesita ayuda para salir de este problema, pero tal vez si redactaras esta carta en papel y se la hicieras llegar, estas palbras lo llevarian a brir su corazon y aceptar tu ayuda y la de tu hermano, es un simple consejo, tal vez pueda ayudarte a buscar ayuda a tiempo para tu padre. No todos tenemos la bendicion de tenerlos a nuestro lado, pero si estas a tiempo de hacer algo por su salud.

السلام علیکم عزیز دوست امید ہے اپ خیر خیریت سے ہوں گے اپ کا لیٹر جو کہ اپ نے اپنے ابو جان کے نام لکھا ہے پڑھ کر مجھے بہت صدمہ ہوا کہ اپ کے والد صاحب الکوحل پیتے تھے اور اپ ان کی مدد کرنا چاہتے تھے لیکن والدین کا رشتہ اولاد کے ساتھ کچھ اس طرح کا ہوتا ہے کہ شاید اپ کے والد صاحب سمجھنا نہیں چاہتے تھے حالانکہ اپ ان کو ڈاکٹر کے پاس لے جانا چاہتے تھے تاکہ وہ اس تکلیف سے باہر نکل ائے اور ایک نارمل انسان کی طرح زندگی گزار سکیں لیکن شاید وہ اپ کی اس بات کو تسلیم کرنے کے لیے تیار نہیں تھے کیونکہ مریض کو کبھی بھی ایسا نہیں لگتا کہ وہ بھی بیمار ہے اللہ تعالی اپ کے لیے اسانیاں پیدا کریں.
Your story is exactly match with my elder brother's children. My elder brother drinks daily alcohol and wastes money on this unnecessary stuff and that's why his children are suffering from financial crises and also they miss their father's love and affection because he is self obsessed person.
Friend, how difficult the situation is with your father, but I know that he loves you and you have beautiful feelings and memories of him.

Amigo, @emsonico, el alcohol es un escape. Él representa para muchas personas que no se sienten bien en ninguna parte, un desahogo.
Los hijos, a veces, no comprendemos lo qu nuestros padres llevcan por dentro; y muchos de ellos no son capaces de hablar con sus hijos de sus frustraciones y fracasos.
