Steemit Engagement Challenge: A Meeting Between Steemians by @adylinah

Hello wonderful steemians;
It feels good to be here again to continue in the ongoing steemit engagement challenge for week 2.
This engagement has really made steemians become more active by interacting with one another in an interesting ways. For week 2 initiative in Steem Venezuela which is to share a moment of meeting up with other steemians in the real world.
Below, you will find out in details my meet up encounter with other steemit users.

MY MEET UP WITH STEEMIANS

My first meet up with steemians was during steem promotion. Then I wasn't familiar with any steemian apart from @eliany. After joining steemit in May 2021, I became active after some months and started making posts and interact with other steemians in the platform but get to meet them facially during my first promo steem activity. Although, we did not get to know ourselves better that day.
After some weeks, @ngoenyi organized a party to celebrate her achievement in steemit platform of hitting 20,000 steem power (SP).

It was a memorable event and it was also a great pleasure to meet other steemians in the real world and have a physical interactions with them.
The location for the celebration was at steemit office, No. 1 Ediye Samuel street, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Many steemians turned up that day to celebrate with our Country Representative (CR) on her great achievement.
This celebration was after the initiation of the clubs (club5050, club75 and club100).
Before the the cutting of cake, the celebrant gave her speech which was based on her steemit journey. She encouraged us to be in a club and listed out the advantages of powering up. She also used herself as an example on how her steemit journey started and how it's going. Her words of encouragement are still fresh in my head. Immediately after her speech, she cut her cake, we all ate and drank with her.

It was really a joyous moment. We were happy for her achievements so we came out in great number for the celebration. Then, I was a newbie on steemit, I got to learn some things about steemit during/ after the event.
We took a group photograph and departed to our various destinations.

I was also opportune to be meeting with steemians (both new and old) on different occasions mostly during training at steemit office.

Meeting between steemians has given me the privilege to make priceless friends.
