My Actifit Report Card: March 29 2020
We started off around 8am this morning by picking up my mother in law’s dog Lady, and then headed to the woods with both dogs. The morning started off a little cloudy and foggy after last nights heavy rain. Once the sun started heating it was lovely. Perfect temperature for a hike.
It is amazing watching everything come to life again after the winter.
The greens are so vibrant and clear in the sunlight.
The dogs got to run around unleashed. Dude had his “I’m up to no good” face on... and for the first half of our hike he was running around and sniffing like crazy.
On our way back to the car, a couple hundred meters in front of us, two deer crossed the path. We gave him the stop and stay command... and he did!!! He did so well. Just stood there and waited for us. As we passed where they crossed, he stopped and sniffed the air... he knew, but stayed put. I’m so darned proud of him.
We stared early enough today to score an #AutomaticWin
The rest of the day went by mostly relaxing and doing laundry. The new washer and dryer works excellent. My pregnant colleague that was due end of April had her baby this weekend, so my shift has changed, starting an hour earlier, which is perfect. The baby and parents are doing fine even though she was born 4 weeks early.
We are spending most of our time avoiding contact with people as much as possible these days... It is a little hard knowing that, if anything should happen to my family in Norway these days, getting there will be almost impossible... Anyway, thanks for stopping and reading this Sunday’s activity post. Take care and stay safe.
