My Actifit Report Card: April 3 2020

Social distancing. Pandemic. Inundated. Crisis. These are the words we hear everyday. It’s exhausting. Amongst the tragedy is numerous people losing their jobs, business and livelihoods. Perhaps no industry is safe and in some ways I’m worried about the future of my work. The only way to take this is at a day at a time. I took for granted the freedom we had before this period of lockdown and quarantine. Seeing our extended families, friends and workmates. Trips outside the home are kept to a bare minimum and grocery stores have large screens now as a precautionary measure. The new normal is scary. It’s confronting. We are essentially prisoners in our own homes.

On a less depressing note, I have been using my time at home to continue to record more organ pieces for my Spotify channel and various other streaming services. My Patreon is getting a little more traction which is encouraging. I do put a lot of time and effort into producing content. I checked my Spotify artists page before bed and noticed a spike in one of my tracks. It’s funny how this piece suddenly gets some attention though I think there are more interesting ones on my channel.
