My favourite purple flower Orchid by @parineeta

Hello everyone, Good morning, hope all of you are fine and safe and enjoying your days. I am also doing fine.First of all i want to thank steem photos community to organise this beautiful contest.Flowers are one of the most beautiful gift given by nature,the different colour and fragrance of it is what makes flowers desirable to human beings,
It's fragrance gives a sense of freshness and peace to the human mind.As the contest is about purple flower ,i am sharing my favourite purple flower of my garden.

What i Know about the Orchid plant,it have beautiful flowers which last for more time then any other flowers .It seems very picky in blooming,but when it's bloom it's last for several weeks . If it doesn't get adequate light it doesn't bloom .It only need light not direct sunlight.Orchid should only watered when it's become dry, overwater may lead the plant roots die.

Uses of Orchid plant :

Orchids are well known mainly as ornamentals.Some of them are said to be medicinal value.Salep from orchid tubers,has been used for centuries as emolient and demolcent.The famouse vanillin used for flavouring ice cream and delicacies throughout the world comes from the pods of an Orchid vanilla panifolia.It is said that orchids carry some certain types of antibacterial objects and phytocamical which helps in treating various types of illness .

Do you plant it in your environment, does it any value to your environment?

: Yes I do.I have planted it in my balcony and also in outdoor area.Its very beautiful plant.

Talking about its value to my environment ,where ever i plant it ,it improves the air quality by observing carbon dioxide from their around environment and discharge Oxygen back into the air .The existence of the plant in my environment have very enfluence to its surrounding .
