I am excited to participate in this engagement challenge because it is one of my favorite thing to travel to New places. I have fun while traveling, I also discover new things during the trip and at the destination I arrive. It's time to talk about what we have been given to work on; the context of Solo and Group traveling . Here we go!

YOUR PREFERENCE FOR TRAVELING ALONE OR IN GROUP STATING YOUR REASONS BY LISTING ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

First, we will understand the actual meaning of traveling. We should understand that traveling is a movement from one place to another through a certain means of transportation in a specified direction across boundaries.
Different people have their preferred style of traveling either a Solo or group travel. My choice for travel is in group and I have so many reasons for my choice.
Despite the potential for privacy concerns and other disadvantages, group travel have more merits than solo travel.

THE ADVANTAGES OF GROUP TRAVELING ARE:

SAFETY: In a travel, there might be a potential danger especially in unfamiliar places. As a solo traveler in such a scenario will have a feeling of being in danger and will be very worried about his or her safety and will be totally helpless in incident where the person is completely in danger. Whereas group travelers will always have the sense of security even in areas of recent incidents of mugging or when suspicious individuals have been noticed. Group travelers have so many advantages over Solo travelers in terms of traveling safety because of the presence of others in the same trip.

SOCIAL INTERACTION AND FUN: Solo travelers go on their own, and may end up being bored or lonely in very far journeys. Group travelers can interact and exchange ideas which are of so many benefits during the trip to their destination which is one of the greatest advantage of group traveling. Who knows? If there are some Steemit members who got to know about this platform from an interaction in a group travel, that must heart surely been a great addition to his or her life and such an individual will not forget that in a hurry because the source of any thing wonderful is always fresh in the memory.

OPPORTUNITY OF LEARNING: The fact that learning never ends still stands. Solo travelers will not stand a chance of learning so many things like the group travelers. Their discoveries will only be restricted to what they see, whereas group travelers learn from what they see and also have time to interact and make conversations with others, exchanging knowledge from past experiences, also what they have known and learnt which can help a long way to solve problems and change lives.

COST OF SAVING: The cost of transportation, accommodation and meals will be frankly reduced because of the collective contribution of the good. In trading we discover that buying bulky goods will be more cheaper than buying same amount in bits, that also applies in group traveling. The members of the traveling group will be convenient at where they are accommodating because of the presence others.

THE DISADVANTAGES OF GROUP TRAVELING ARE:

PRIVACY CONCERNS: Since everyone going on the trip are always together, individuals of such a trip will not have their privacy because everything done will be open to all the members of the journey

FREEDOM: Individuals of a group travel are restricted to go to certain places of their interest especially when others in the group do not have the same interest as yours. So as group travelers, everyone will always be together, doing things together and visiting same places. This can be a disadvantage to some people, which can cause the affected person to end up in a terrible journey.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL COST BY TRAVELING IN THIS MODALITIES

The amount of money an individual have is the main factor that will determine how far he or she can journey. The general cost of traveling in group will be less than solo traveling because collective contribution will reduce the average budget that will be required for a certain trip. This is one of the merit group traveling has over solo traveling as it's very good to manage funds Incase of future pressing needs.

AS RECOMMENDATION: WHAT ARE THE BEST SPOTS FOR YOU TO TRAVEL IN GROUP/ALONE

For Solo traveling, the best spot for traveling is in familiar places irrespective of the nature of that area. Obviously, the rate of a potential danger will be very low in such areas. In familiar places, the individual must have been conversant with the different places in the area and will be more secured and convenient.
In group traveling the spot for anyone to travel is unlimited because in cases of potential danger, the harm that can possibly be exerted on an individual will be reduced as a group.
