Once upon the time in Australia @Stef1

Hello my dear Steemians,

Today I wanted to invite you to the challenge running by Travelling Steem Community:

https://steemit.com/hive-188972/@travelingsteem/sec-s16w3-or-where-do-you-plan-to-go-in-your-next-trip

Discover Australia

As every child we are an explorer in our soles. We love to discover new things and to visit new places. This feeling is very strong once we grow up and reach magic time reaching our 18 years old. Of course, it is a bit too early so it is important just to spend couple of more years and become a bit more independent.

Just when we are beyond 20 y.o. it is good time to plan visiting some interesting places, of course, it is important to have a good company.

Today I wanted to present you the time when my hubby visited Australia in his 20's, that left such impressive memories that we both plan to visit this country one day.

Australia is a huge continent and you can see everything from desert to the area of tropical climate. It is impossible to see everything during short time that is why his trip was 5 weeks in camper with his cousin.

Who best to travel with?

I do not like to travel in a big group because we are all different and all have our own wishes what to do, when to have breakfast, when to have some rest and in general sometimes we just want to be for ourselves and in a group that is not possible.

My hubby and his cousin was a good team, they knew their own characters, their likes and dislikes. It was not a problem to just not to cook on some days and have a quick MacDonald or pasta with ketchup.

The most important was to get through the trip, the most important was to learn exotic nature and country.

The history of Australia is also very distinct and rich due old history of Aboriginal Australians, like any ancient cultures they left drawings on rocks that we can see many centuries later.

When I see such pictures that were done by ancient people it makes me wonder what those people wanted to tell us and if it was a direct reflection of what they have seen like realism or if it was just a fantasy.

If it is a real picture, then do you think that it might be an alien's picture, because it looks like the special astronaut's suit with buttons in the middle and such pattern on arms and legs.

Typical Australian Animals

It is another reason to visit Australia to see the wildlife of the continent. What is typical animal? Of course, Kangaroos. I was always fascinated that this country has animals with pockets but also Kangaroos can jump and stay on their strong back legs.

This one is enjoying the shadow under a tree.

Koalas are very cute and most of the time they are on trees and having a nap.

*Crocodiles are also one of the animal that feels like home in Australia. As tourists people are warned not to have overnight stay in neighbourhood of rivers and water reservoirs. Those ones were also seen and photographs from relatively close distance, but they are also were busy with their Siesta.

You can imagine that after seeing all this beauty I also wish to see this everything live, so it is in our to do list, do not know what but definitely one day.

I would like to invite @davidad, @liusir, @bambuka for this challenge

Hello @stef1, knowing Australia, the continent country, would take several days, it is huge but it would be wonderful to know it. Its unique animals that only exist in that place, such as the fascinating kangaroos.

It would be very good to travel and see Australia. Greetings.

If someone had a chance to travel to Australia, then it is better to prepare themselves well, such chance can be only once, so need to use it and try to spend minimum 2 weeks, so that it is not hectic but also enjoyable.

I have a suspicion that the rock carvings were left by not quite ancient people, but by aborigines already possibly in the "new time", i.e. no later than 500 years.
But I could be wrong.

Yes, could be, still it is impressive to see those carving, that is for eternity.

I also love the documentary about Australia, every single part of the continent is different and it feels like you are in other country. Huge territory and a lot of nature to discover. Who knows we still keep dreaming, it may come true :)

Greetings friend,

Traveling gives us peace of mind and experiences about new places. You want to travel the continent of Australia with your husband. You don't like large groups for travel as it reduces individual freedom. What do the stone carvings by ancient people suggest? I think these may be the images after punishing the people in the previous day.

I find the Australian kangaroo very interesting especially the pouch on its stomach. Have a nice trip to Australia.

Travelling is like a reward after long time of work. If travel to a far away country that gives a real feeling of having rest and gather a lot of impression from the trip.

I am glad that we still have such impressive reminder of the trip that gives us flash back :)

Greetings ma'am, who doesn't like to travel. Traveling gives us peace of mind and relieves fatigue. But traveling to new places can gain a lot of ignorance. Noting that you want to travel to Australia with your husband. The pictures carved on the stone by the hands of ancient people seem to be of any animal. I wish you a nice trip to Australia.

You are right I believe human always loved to travel and often we just need that refreshing feeling. You might remember how hard it was during Covid restriction when we were stuck in our houses for 3 years. I am glad that we are free again :)

Hey! :) Oh, Australia. Haven't planned for it but who knows, everything is possible. I think I may started dreaming of it now :)
As you say, wildlife is a great reason to travel there, I am intrigued by many people who say almost everything alive there is trying to kill you, hehehe. The most colorful creatures and the deadliest but at the same time the most beautiful, right...
