When we are young we all dream about adventure, we want to see places other than where we live. That is why when we live in Europe we want to travel to other side of the world and see something completely different like other continent , maybe tropical weather and just other culture and tradition.
The trip to New Zealand was done few decades ago and that time there were no digital camera only the analogue and we were very excited to have it, the only bad side of it it nobody knew how good or how bad the images were till you processed and often you were disappointed or you might be very delighted. But only expensive.

Just imagine you are young and 25 years old and decided to visit New Zealand. What will be then your plans how to reach your goal?
Of course, it was no go, to ask the parents. The parents would never be able to spare couple of thousands for a trip, especially because the trip was to be for 5 weeks.
So, the decision is just to save money, work and do not spend, just collect and of course, earlier or later the money was collected.

It is not really good to travel alone because you can not share your excitement and experience with anyone. That is why this trip was done together with my cousin, two and a van for 5 weeks of wildness.
The weather it was nice and hot, but also not too hot, was like normal summer but the difference here was that we could be on wheels for miles and miles with no human, just nature, ice capped mountains, but lake at the feet of mountains. The forests with wild life and you wake up in the morning with sound of birds and fresh breeze of wind.
Breakfast under open sky and have a picnic at the side of a lake.
The nature and protection of nature with strict rules and regulations that made this country very unique, like a little pearl and paradise for animals and inhabitants.
We were dreaming to move completely to this ideal place but the life sometimes have other plans so this place remained our Dream. Who knows we might be able to visit this place once again and one day.

Five weeks are enough for a good travel where it was necessary to collect sufficient money for this purpose. Often when we young we do not think about those moments how important they will be and how often we think about those memories. We still chat about that time and miss it. One day we might return and see if the places will cause the same emotions.

Your travel time was during summer. You went on a trip to New Zealand. New Zealand's beaches are amazingly beautiful. Your travel pictures are very beautiful. You are right that traveling alone cannot be shared. So you took along cousins. It was very nice to write about your trip. Good luck to you.
The nature in New Zealand is very rich from cold mountains till warm beach and forests. Often such trips we never forget, I am glad that we had camera to capture everything :)

Your journey is very beautiful. In which we also get a chance to learn the culture of another country. There are many things in the world which are always beautiful, it is a gift of nature.
I wish that many people would be able to visit this place, especially in young age that is like to read the old adventure books :)
You've made me develop a liking for this country. I've always heard of newzealand but I've never thought of going what the country looks like. The pictures you've shared has given me a glimpse of the mountainous regions here especially the waterfall..... I've always dreamt of seeing such. I heard about the country and its nature but recently because of the movies "Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings" the place because very popular, it is nice that we can see the beauty of country in movies and also that the country preserves its nature :)
It is really very exciting to know about an unknown place from a person who actually enjoyed the place and describe it with beautiful photos. It is also interesting to know that you made the first continental tour on your own savings. Hope you will be able to make such a trip again in due course of time.
The experiences in such young age are all very special and overwhelming, we are glad that we were able to have that chance at least we have many great photos from that time :)
I was also lucky to visit Rajasthan for one month at my youth. But it is unfortunate that I don't have memories of photos. In fact one of my friend and his father who accompanied me also died. Another friend who is still alive and frequently we discuss about the trip and enjoy our unforgettable memories of the tour.
If only I could go back in time! I'd surely change my university course instead of the broken and very demanding one I did, to have more time to work and spare money for such a beautiful travel. Unfortunately, my university course when I was 25 was very long, very demanding, very expensive and last but not least, a severe disappointment cause hardly expendable in job's universe. OK, what is done, is done...

These are wonderful pictures of New Zealand. New Zealand looks like a Dinosaur Island :) I remember analog cameras. I would take my film to the photo processor, it would take 24 to 48 hours. And in anticipation I would look through the photos while I was at the photo processor, just to make sure the photos were of good quality.
Hello sir, the New Zealand beach looked beautiful and attractive. It is true that asking parents for money for a trip of 5 weeks would be much and it's best saved to acquire enough money for the trip and you know, no much fun when you travel alone. Your option of traveling with your cousins added spice to your visit. I loves beaches and this looks breath taking. Good luck to you Sir!
