Santa Claus has the right idea - visit people only once a year, and I visited lagos once just like santa.

Lagos is a very big city located in southwestern Nigeria. I have a friend who lives there, and I planned to go pay her a visit. My main purpose of going to Lagos was to go and rest for a while because I stressed myself with work so much and I needed to relax. I just needed to change the environment and feel better.
I told her I was coming to her place to spend some time; she was happy and prepared for my coming. It was on a summer trip. The weather was so bright and beautiful; everywhere was buzzing. Although I had booked my ticket online, getting to the park, I confirmed my ticket number and waited for departure time.
Since this journey was for relaxation, I went alone. No friend, no family, no neighbor—just me. We left a few minutes after my arrival. Lagos is like a day journey from the eastern part of Nigeria, so I got to my destination at night, and the next day, my tour began.

Unilag is a very big school with so many buildings, car parks, banks, churches, water fonts, and lagoons. My tour around the school was amazing. I went to one of the banks, GT Bank, to be precise, because it has some nice settings outside where people can sit.
I was attracted to seeing the love garden made available for students. OMG, it looked beautiful. I sat there for a very long time because it was comfortable and nice-looking. If you have been to Unilag, you will agree with me that this setting is breath-taking.
I also went to the lagoon. It was a very cool and quiet place to be. I went there and had a quiet time with my friend. Oh, that place was very good for relaxation. I saw some students who came there to read, and I tell you, if you read in such an environment, you don't need to fail your exams.
Counting days during my stay, I noticed I had spent one week, but I have more weeks to spend and more places to cover. My friend did enjoy my stay, and I enjoyed my stay too.

My tour was a memorable one. The waterfront has so many ancient boats and ships that have been locked up for years. I saw some children diving in and out; I think they went fish hunting. I sat with my friend, enjoying the cool breeze, the views, the dance from within, and other activities. There was no dining; I only enjoyed the sightseeing.
My journey was safe and smooth, but my only problem was that the driver refused to turn on the television for us and felt so bad about it. Apart from that, nothing else.
When I got to the park in Lagos, I called my friend to come pick me up. She came, and we boarded a tricycle home. A few weeks later, I prepared to travel back. I felt so bad leaving. I wanted to stay longer, but duty called and I had to leave.
It was a nice visit, and I wish to do more of that with my friend. Probably next year, just like Santa, hahaha.

Hi @ninapenda, I'm glad you were able to spend relaxing moments with your friend in that beautiful city, although I don't know it, the pictures you show are captivating.
Places to get away from the stress that our day to day life brings us, When we surround ourselves with nice people and tourist sites, they are a balm for our souls, it allows us a great distraction and therefore leaves us with a memorable satisfaction.

Que lugar tan bonito jajajaj y como papá noel dices que visitaste el sitio una vez este año.
Es maravilloso ver tus fotografías y ver cómo te divertiste, no hay nada como ir a un sitio donde la pasemos muy bien y nos queden bonitos recuerdos como estos.
El conductor no quería distraerse con el televisor jajajaj quizá por eso no quiso encenderlo lo importante es que todo tu viaje fue genial y lo disfrutaste al máximo .

You have visited to Lagos. Lagos is a very big city located in southwestern Nigeria. You have a friend who lives there, so you planned to visit her. There you went to Unilag which is a beautiful and famous place. You have mentioned too many beautiful places there at Unilag.
You have safe and sound tour and you enjoyed it alot. The only problem you have faced was that of television with that driver haha. It sounds somehow funny, but thanks God you have a safe journey there and you enjoyed it.
