OUR WAY OF CELEBRATING MOTHER'S DAY
Good day steemians!
How do you celebrate Mother's Day? Did you just stayed at home and cook something or went out? Whatever it is, remember it is not necessary to celebrate it to a 5 star restaurant. A simple greeting from your loved ones is just alright. As long as they sincerely appreciated you because being a mother is really not an easy job.
And today let me share to you how do we celebrate Mother's Day.
Last week, I created a group chat and I added my siblings. I told them that we will prepare 1000php each so that we can let our mother dine out with the whole family. Good thing they agreed what I wanted to happen. By the way, we are 6 in the family 2 of us are ofw, 2 are teachers and the other 2 are office works. But our youngest just started her work so we just dont ask from her.
So, the 3 of us gave 1000php for our dinner, one bought a cake and the other one ordered a bouquet made by my sister.
Yesterday around 4pm we went to SM Seaside a little bit far from our place.
When we arrived the mall, we then search an affordable restaurant to eat our dinner. All restau has a long line because of the occasion. So, we also lined up. We lined up 3 restau and the first one that will entertain us will be the restau that we will had our dinner.
And the restau who entertained us first is SUTUKIL.
And they served our food after 45 minutes. Unfortunately, there were many menu were sold out so we just ordered the food available. We ordered the following:
- 2 platter rice
- pork liempo
- caldereta
- pork ribs sinigang
- pancit with kawali
- soda
We paid 2400php all in all.
After eating, I then gave my go signal to my brother to give the bouquet. To my surprise, they also gave me a bouquet as well as my sister in law. Its just so funny, I almost forgot that I am also a mother😀 I just thought that we will be surprising our mother.
Afterwards, we then went out the restau and took some picture all over the place.
