I would like to thank the management team of Traveling Steem for organising such an interesting contest. I'm delighted to participate. I also invite three fellow Steemians to participate @paholags @eveetim @daprado1999

Name and description of the place you remember as best trip of your childhood.

I had been to Rajgir more than once in my childhood. We used to stay in a Tourist guest house on the first floor. The buildings facing a rose garden had very common as well as most unconventional coloured flowers like Blackrose. In the evening the breeze spreads a magnificent aura in the surrounding.

The food of the guest house was unbelievably sumptuous. The fragrances of pure ghee were nice. During those days tourists were less and place was very secluded which was ideal for vacation.

The nearest park from the Guest house was Venu Van. Its beautiful statue of Buddha was one of the tourists attraction. We used spend time with family and play in the children's park.

All the people who accompanied you during this journey.

It was always our family trip with brothers and sister along with our parents. We used go by evening train and reach the place in early morning. In one of the tours my grandmother also accompanied us.

Anecdotally unique facts you would love to outstanding.

There is a hot spring called Brahma Kund. It is believed that any chronic disease is healed by taking a dip in the sacred hot water of spring. There were some streams of hot water coming out from the iron mouths of tigers. It was a regular agenda for us to take bath in the hot spring.

Patna Sahib Gurudwara building and inside of the shrine was very impressive. I can vividly remember there were Sikhs in white dresses with turban reading Guru Granth Sahib day and night in deep concentration.

We also visited Mahabodhi Temple Complex at Bodh Gaya. It is the oldest buddhist temple in India. It is also a UNESCO World heritage site. The great statue of Buddha was not built then but in my successive visit I saw it.

Greetings @impersonal, I loved reading this unforgettable trip you made with your family when you were a child. As I was reading it, similar stories came to my memory from other ends of the planet.
And it is that the children of the world enjoy the same regardless of the place, what matters is the company and the indelible memories that nourish us as human beings. Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience.

Dear @impersonal,,

You visited Rajgir many times as a child. There you would always visit your family members, staying with them in the guest house on the second floor. Enjoyed the food, environment and Buddha statues and temples there.

In places where religious activities are practiced, everything that exists is mysterious. As people used to think about the high reservoir of Rajgir, bathing there would cure long-term illness.

I actually don't know much about Rajgir but I have heard about Nalanda several times on social sites.
Hope you get a chance to visit that delightful place again soon.

Hello @impersonal.

Feliz tarde y bendiciones 😉
