This is a week of the Engagement Challenge and as of today, I embark on the challenge “My travel destination in 2024. Being new to this challenge ignites my feelings of anticipation and enthusiasm to explore dreams about where my next journey can be. Thus, the act of pondering over the disassembling of dreams to consider the opportunities and experiences as well as the sounds and sights of a journey that awaits me signs me up with readiness to share dreams and adventure destinations I get to hear about. It is high time to set for a virtual sea together and fuel the tourist’s desire with the visions of the future.

1. Where is your travel destination in 2024? Tell us about it and why you put it at the top of your travel destinations.

Insha Allah, Bali will be my chosen trip destination in the year 2024. I had previously intended to go to Bali, but because of the outbreak of COVID-19 throughout the nation, I decided against going. Subsequently, my goals were postponed as a result of several other factors. However, contingent upon Allah's decree, I want to visit Bali in December 2024.

The reason why I selected Bali is because a number of my friends and cousins suggested that I consider Bali and the documentary clips of Bali on YouTube are so appealing that I want to visit the place. According to these sources, Bali’s nature, sea an important aspect of their culture, and of course food, are highly appealing to me.

Nonetheless, personal referrals, the appealing images of numerous documentaries, and the seemingly irresistible aspects of Balinese culture and wildlife are the precise factors behind my decision to select Bali as my travel destination in 2024. I am expecting a lot from this trip and indeed a lot of beautiful and exciting moments that Bali has for me.

2. What kind of travel experiences are you planning there?

My travels in Bali will include a diverse array of experiences that will further my comprehension of the island's unique blend of breathtaking scenery, vibrant cultural legacy, exhilarating pursuits, wellness options, and delicious food. This is my intended plan:

🔹Exploring Nature:Moreover, traveling within Ubud and to other major attractions will be included, such as a scenic Tegallalang Rice Terraces and stunning Kuta , Nusa Dua beaches. There is one thing I really have to do and that is to hike at dawn to the top of Mount Batur – a volcano.

🔹Cultural Immersion: I will visit places of worship which are important cultural sites such as Uluwatu and Tanah lots, followed by watching performances like Kecak dance to have the true blend of the cultural feel of Bali.

🔹Adventure Activities: I’d like to visit Kuta Beach for surfing, do a deep sea dive down in Nusa Penida, switch my gear up a notch for rafting in the Ayung River, and experience the adrenaline rush of zip lining through the forests.

🔹Wellness Retreats: I intend to pamper myself with Balinese massage, Yoga, and some more healthy exercise to sort of take a break.

🔹Culinary Exploration: I will over-indulge in favorites such as Nasi Goreng, Mi Goreng, and Babi Guling, tour markets, and even attend a Balinese Cooking Class.

🔹Engaging with Locals: I will interact with the friendly Balinese citizens to discover their experiences within their homes and culture, improving the cultural experience.

🔹Spiritual Reflection: I will engage in some quiet and reflection to ensure that I achieve a balance in my soul an aspect that I will be doing at some of the calmest places such as Monkey Forest in Ubud and some temples.

These will help make my 2024 trip to Bali a marvelous one, Insha Allah.

3. Are you planning the trip solo or will you have a travel companion?

I will visit Bali in 2024 accompanied by my spouse and our only child. Collectively, we will go on a journey to discover the innate beauty of Bali, including the exploration of rice terraces, and beaches, and ascending Mount Batur by hiking. We will fully engage in the vibrant culture by exploring temples and seeing traditional dances. The activities we will engage in include surfing, diving, and rafting. In addition, we will partake in health activities and savor the rich cuisine of Bali. Interacting with the local inhabitants and dedicating time to contemplation will enhance our overall experience. The presence of my family on this voyage will add a unique and indelible quality to the experience.

4. If you could take any Steemian as a travel companion, who would it be?

Before answering this question I must say it is quite a challenging one for me because I have many friends here on the Steemit platform. Ok, If I could travel with any Steemian, I would like, of course, to have @sushanta83 with me. He is like a young brother to me for I can listen to him and talk to him about anything, especially the more we hang out, for we are both interested in the same things, for instance, nature, cultures, and adventures.

In summary, we would sight-see relax, and have fun exploring natural and man-made attractions in Bali. He would bring the feeling of togetherness which creates immense brotherhood, which otherwise was missing, would make the Bali trip a memorable one.

5. Share the estimated steem value of what your trip would cost to complete.

During traveling, cost is a very sensitive issue, and based on our estimations for the Bali trip, we have estimated to spend 6 Lakh Bangladeshi Taka(BDT) (5,118 USD or 26,460 STEEM value), Insha Allah. This budget entails for transportation which is plane fare, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner, tourist attraction/sightseeing, purchase of souvenirs/shop, and other incidental expenses/overheads. It can be more or less based on the situation. Therefore, to keep to this financial plan comfortably, we should embark on careful planning to ensure that our trip to Bali is a memorable one.
