Blue evokes a lot of positive feelings. It could mean respect as you suggested and gives a calming effect. I did see blue as a colour that indicates every other thing, except respect. Now I learned something new from reading your post.

Thanks for visiting me @ukpono, I also learned some things about the color blue, although it is my favorite color, I had never looked for its meaning.
Regardless of the color, the important thing is that we feel good with inner peace.
