SEC S10W1: Un regalo para mi mismo. / A gift to myself

I hope you are all well and enjoying your lives. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing contest Sec. S10W1: Un regalo para mi mismo/A gift to myself. We all gift others and wait for gifts from others for ourselves. But I think we should gift ourselves. I'm alhumdulilah lucky that my family gifted me the things that I wanted (as I don't gift to myself).

What gift would you give yourself?

Life becomes very busy, and in this situation, I want some peace in my life. So it's my heart's dream that I visit holy Kaba Tulah. I wanted to travel with my family to Makkah for Umrah as a gift to myself.

It would be the best gift for me, not only for this life but for my life after death. I have visited this place four times before, but being a Muslim, I want to go there again and again. It's our holy place where we get purity of soul and peace of mind. During our worship, our previous sins are forgiven by Allah.

During travelling to other places, we get excited. We explore many new places, foods, cultures, etc. These all are really interesting for us, but when we travel to our holy place, we get these experiences parallel to the spiritual purification, and it's that that makes us better than before in every aspect of life.

When I went there I took long vacation like one month or 40days. Next visit that I planned will be of at least 20 days if I will not going with my whole family. We explore new place of city, local cuisine, culture along with our worship.

I have no words to describe my feelings for that place. Watching taba, listening to Azan, praying sallah at mattaf, twaaf of kaba tulah, and Umra—all will fill your heart and soul with peace and satisfaction.

These are some reason why I would like to gift this trip to myself.

Whenever you tired you need break, many people travel to different places release their stress, anxiety by exploring them. So my travel to Makkah will make me super charged, free from stress of life and remove my sins by the grace of Allah.

These all above this will make my life easier. I will collect the great blessing of Allah from this holy place. This trip definitely will help me to run my life in an easy. It will really make my life easier.

How much does this gift cost in your country? You can take the price to steem.

I visited this place in September 2022. Now prices for an umrah package become higher than from that time. My native currency is decreasing day by day that making everything more expensive.

Airlines ticket become more expensive, visa to Saudi Arabia is 900 riyal plus hotel room these collectively become 350000 PKR/person in Steem it will equal to the 7000 Steem.

In my country there is no traveling agency who's dealing in Steem. For payment I will change my Steem to pkr for my payment of trip.

Does steemit help you save for what you want so much?

Alhumdulilah yes, I have 33000 Steem, that is enough for me to take my whole family for this holy trip. I have no need to Powerdown from steemit, I have some other resources too.

In last ast trip of my Makkah, I paid half expense of my trip from my Steem that I have earned from Steemit.

What other gifts have you given yourself before?

I have given many little celebrations to my family, small trip, small vacations to myself with my family.

Special salon treatment as gift for myself when I was very depressed after my surgery.

New sofa set for drawing room was a pleasure to myself.

Helping someone who's needy is my best gift for myself and I really enjoyed this gift always.
