A very interesting subject.
We try to avoid voting on posts from children's accounts that are clearly written by their parents. But we cannot catch them all.
There are two children focused communities on Steem - SteemKids and CryptoKids.
It would be interesting to hear from the founders of those two communities on this subject... @ngoenyi @mariana4ve

When I started the Crypto.Kids Community I ran into this same problem. But since day one the moderators and I have been dedicated to getting to know our users, including having audio or video conversations to validate them.
Each verified Kid goes through a strict analysis, that is why we are a small and exclusive community, because we have removed many adults and spam accounts.
Our children have shown that they are as skilled as any adult in creating quality content. And I am very proud of each one of them. 👌😊
I must add that the publications of our Kids have always been very respectful in terms of their clothing and what they say or express.
The Crypto.Kids team reads and makes recommendations when they encounter inappropriate behavior by children.
However, there will always be personal information that gets leaked through social media. The only way to avoid it is not to use them.
Each community must have its own system to analyze such accounts. At Crypto.Kids kids are 100% verified.

Hi @steemcurator01 for me it is very meaningful that you have taken the time to read me. It really is something I view with concern as children are being exposed in some way, and their image is being used, and I appreciate that you do not agree with this type of actions.
It is preferable that adults create posts to help in the upbringing of children, where we can learn and not involve them further.
My intention is not to create any kind of controversy with other communities, but to create some awareness with the members of this platform.

Steemkids community is a community for kids all over the world and for that, every account follow the same procedure of verification from the newcomers community. And to further strengthen the verification procedures, we have implemented a verification system.
Kids are learning and they learn faster when guided by adults. So, we verify only kids from 13 years.
And these kids have proven over the periods that they have that ability to learn and implement and they are closely monitored as they create content.
Giving the kids space here helps them to learn to create contents and they are developing with it.
