Everyone has their own pleasure activity in which they feel happy. I also have many activities that I feel happy doing. But one thing that I love to do and I am happy to do it every time is cooking.

Whenever I have free time or I am free from college etc., and often when I feel like it, I do cooking. By the way, I am very fond of baking, but once or twice I tried baking, but it did not turn out well for me. That's why I focus so much on cooking rather than baking and try to try something new every time.

A month ago, we had a feast for some relatives in our house, so we had to prepare a good meal for them. So my brother said that I will bring food from outside but me and my younger sister said that no we will prepare food at home, then we both prepared food together with my mama and now I I will share their recipe with you.

To make chana chaat, my mama soaked these chickpeas in water since the previous day, due to which they become soft and slightly swollen, then next morning she boiled the chickpeas . I also cut onions to add to it.

Mix chickpeas and onions. The potatoes that were boiled with chickpeas were also cooled.

After that, peel the potatoes and cut them into small slices. The rest of the vegetables like tomatoes, chillies, coriander, etc. were chopped and added to the chaat.

Then added the rest of the spices like red chillies, chaat spices, salt, tamarind paste and other spices and mix it all well and then Chana Chaat was ready.

As we kept this feast for breakfast and Halwa is very popular for breakfast in Pakistan, so we thought that we should prepare Halwa Puri at home.

For halwa puri first my mama made the puri stuff by kneading flour with the help of salt, ghee, oil and hot water and kept it.

After this, we made small dough balls from the same dough and then covered them and set them aside.

Meanwhile, on the other side, we poured oil into a wok and heated it properly. Using a rolling pin, we flattened these dough balls and then fried them in the hot oil. We didn't fry them too much, just deep-fried them quickly and took them out immediately.

In this way, I fried all the pooris, and they turned out to be very delicious.

To make halwa, I first took a large pan and added vegetable oil to it. After heating it slightly, I added semolina and roasted it for a while.

When it was well roasted and started to give off a nice aroma, I added sugar, making it sweet. Then I added water to thin it out a bit. Since I wanted to add some dry fruits to the halwa, I chopped and cleaned nuts and dried fruits, then added them to the mixture.

I cooked it thoroughly for quite some time, and our delicious halwa was ready to be served.
