Hello Friends ❤️

I'm glad to be part of this week's engagement contest. I started with this one in particular because shopping has been part of us, we just can't do without it and you know what? I love shopping, yes it is one of my hobbies though this particular responsibility is tasking and one needs to be calculative and think not buying at the spur of the moment, because things are hard we need to buy commodities that we really need not what we necessarily want.

I normally do my shopping in a mart, shopping mall, or the general market, it depends on what I needed at the time. I hope you will enjoy reading me as I will try to follow the guiding questions.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DOING THE SHOPPING IN MY HOME?

My husband and I are responsible for shopping, but I normally do the most, because I'm the one who knows what we lack or need at a particular time especially when it comes to foodstuff and kids' foods and beverages in fact everything including dresses. Haha that's women for you, and most importantly I'm good at bidding, women are the ones taking care of homes. But my hubby normally gives me the money for the shopping, after drafting the lists of items we will be needed, but I do support him sometimes.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU SHOP AT HOME?

Well it depends, but I mostly shopped weekly, especially for groceries and other perishable goods or foodstuffs, but for others like toiletries, beverages, body creams, perfumes, baby diaper, detergents and wipes, etc are monthly, some like body cream two months

WHAT ARE THE PRODUCTS THAT CANNOT BE MISSING IN YOUR HOME? MENTION ANY OF them (personal hygiene, cleaning, food, or sweets)

I can't miss toothpaste, toilet paper, bathing soap, detergent, pads, roll-ons, my baby's diaper, wipes, beverages, and foods (groceries) in my home, these are life necessities, any other products or commodities can wait, but the aforementioned is as important as life itself and I can't do without them.

DO YOU SHOP IN A SPECIFIC PLACE OR DO YOU WALK THROUGH SEVERAL PLACES BEFORE SHOPPING?

I love shopping at my favorite mall though, but sometimes I do window shopping, especially if I need to buy in bulk, I prefer going to the warehouse because the prices of things are cheaper and affordable there. Then for groceries, meats, and other foodstuff I usually shopped in the market, there I can walk through many places, compare prices and then choose the best products at the most affordable prices

HOW MUCH DO YOU SPEND ON AVERAGE EACH TIME YOU GO SHOPPING? (indicate the price in your currency and the equivalent in STEEM)

Well, there's no specific amount, it depends on what I needed at the time and how much I can afford to spend. For example, the above cost 38,760 Naira which is approximately 295 Steems with the current rate of steem to Naira.

I just found the above pictures and receipt from last 8 months ago while searching for pictures on my device.
It's just an example, sometimes I do shop more than that, sometimes far less depending on what I needed and how much I can afford.

Cost of living is so high in my country, prices of commodities are now 3x I'm planning to be shopping in bulk because this will save costs than going to these small shops to buy bit by bit. I will only buy what I truly need, make lists and do window shopping, and buy from where prices are a bit cheaper. This is how I plan to do my home shopping. Hello @mesola, @eliany, and @beautiful12 kindly share with us how you plan to do your home shopping. Thank you!

It's great that you and your hubby have a system in place for managing the shopping liabilities. It sounds like you have a good understanding of what your ménage requirements, especially when it comes to food, potables, and other rudiments. It's also awful that your hubby supports you by furnishing the plutocrat for the shopping and that you occasionally support him as well.

Every His has its own dynamics and division of labor, and it's important to find a system that works for both mates. In numerous cases, one person takes the lead in certain areas grounded on their knowledge or chops, but it's always salutary to have a cooperative approach.

Flash back, gender places and liabilities can vary from ménage to ménage, and what matters most is that you and your hubby have set up a way to work together effectively and support each other in maintaining a well- performing home.

Casi siempre somos las mujeres las que sabemos con exactitud lo que hace falta en casa, pero que bueno que los esposos también se involucren en esta tarea y cooperen con las compras.

Que bueno que puedes comprar los productos básicos y también los necesario para tu bebé.

Greeting mam

I am happy to know that you love to do shopping and also concerned about the prices and often do window shopping in order to check the prices of the goods in market, we women are really very concerned about the prices of market goods and we try to buy things at lower price.

Good luck

You're right my friend, Men are extravagant when it comes to spending, only few of them are good at negotiating, that's why we should always take the lead in shopping in order to save cost.

You know my husband once went to the market for me, he end up buying vegetable of 400 Naira for 1,000 since then I don't send him foodstuffs again. haha 😂

Hahaha same is mine he said why i do bargaining they are poor and give them extra money too, i also don't send them to market.

Hahaha 🤣🤣 exactly what my husband used to say, and each time I want to leave for the market he will be like my love please don't bargain too much, remember you're a nursing mother. Haha 😂 May God bless them for us!
