In this art contest I will show you my creations making roses from soap. Besides being able to be used as a decoration in the room, this flower can also function as a room freshener because it is made of bath soap that gives off a fresh and fragrant aroma.

Here are the tools and materials and the manufacturing process.

paper glue
wheat flour
red dye
wooden stick

Making Process

Step. 1
Bar soap is grated to form a powder.

Step.2
In the bath soap powder, add red dye, then stir until smooth. Next, add the paper glue to the soap mixture, stir until well blended. Next, add flour so that the dough is not sticky and easy to shape.

Step.3
After the dough is finished, take it little by little the dough is taken and formed into small rounds and then flattened. Next, form the center of the flower and attach it to a wooden stick that will be used as a flower stalk. Part of the dough that has been flattened earlier is then used to form flower petals.

Step.4
Form flower petals one by one from the dough that has been flattened. After the petals are connected to each other and form a flower. then continue the above steps again to form another flower using another wooden stick as the stem.

After the dough is used up and the flowers have been made, then put the flowers in a vase and they are ready to be displayed.

That's my creation using bar soap to make roses. I hope that my participation in this contest will be accepted. And hopefully I can continue to share and get inspiration from this favorite community of mine.
